Hello , I want to buy national RX- C37 boombox from second hand shop that I saw yesterday , please give suggestion about these devices that I can purchase or not?
Dear friends i need some spares for this audio system (RX-C53D) where can I get them. Whom to be contacted regarding this. Pl.let me know the availability of the spares for my audio system.(RX-C53D).
Open it was fairly easy, just remove the 4 and 5 screws on the back of the speaker and main component will do, about the restoration, I’m sorry that I can’t make it happened, the first reason was because I’m not a professional, I do all of this upgrade and repairing with my own way (which is totally wrong and terrible way for other people, but it works excellent for me) secondly is I’ve already done restored my unit so I’m not able to make a video about restoring it, but here’s the things I do if you’re interested to know: Washing and repainted the rusty speaker grills, replace some IC and resistor (I bought a broke RX-C53D as sparepart which was super hard to find one) cleaning the volume and eq slider with hand sanitizers (apparently the wrong way to clean them) but it works perfectly and now there’s no any issue from volume down to max, eq works great as well, and lastly replace a crappy belt I bought online for the tape player (the tape sounds weird but at least it works just not perfect) Extra things I do : adding polyfill in the speaker box to make the bass sounded much deeper and smoother, changing the surround with my very own “cloth material” which is a stupid way, but this makes the speaker moves more and have a much powerful, stronger bass than before, and also adding a small laptop speakers with a capacitor as a tweeter so it sounds crispy and sharp I sort all of these out by myself, except for replacing the belts and paint the speaker grill correctly, I learned them from a channel called “TE”, he’s very good on restoring old boomboxes, be sure to check his channel out, I’ll put his channel link here, hope it helps ;) ua-cam.com/users/TE-Channel

Hi, I think it shouldn't be a problem to purchase it, it's a decent radio
Just be aware that the cassette deck will need to have new belts

Can you kindly tell me when the National RX-CW54F was made? Like early 1980's?
I never own a RX-CW54 so I’m not so sure, but these RX Compo with AFD speakers and XBS function were made in the late 80’s till the early 90’s
The non XBS version was made in mid 80’s
My father once had this technology but when I was in my teens I broke it
