Interesting fact: if you slow down the video when the guy runs to get away after Michael attacks him with the axe, you can see he runs past the tree Michael left Jason pinned to, only now his body is gone.
When I saw this, I knew there was no was Myers could beat Jason. However, if you take away Jason's immortality, Myers would have won. There have been several occasions where people have snuck up on Jason, while no one has ever done so to Myers. I think a more fair fight would by Myers VS Leather face.
Correct. Myers stood no chance against Zombie Jason or even Dream Demon Freddy. He doesn't belong in the same universe. After Jason Lives and Dream Warriors is when the debate started between the 2 most popular and powerful slasher icons in history. They need to reboot both that leads to another FvJ film. I believe they will.
I also thought the battle itself for this one was somewhat lacklustre (though with some good moments and concepts). I’ve suggested this once before, but I’ll do it again: Iron Man vs Lex Luthor. Even if you don’t think it’s the best battle they’ve done (and I’d argue it’s definitely up there) I think it may have the best moment. Just my opinion and I don’t want to overhype it, but it’s absolutely worth a watch 😊
I wasn't looking when Beth was all "Okay you can gloat" I was expecting her to be looking off to the side, when all of a sudden Ken leans back onscreen with a pointy party hat and one of those little extending paper party horns.
I feel like pitting Jason Voorhees against Michael Myers is literary an example of "What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?" They're both hellbent on causing mass murders so I feel like it's purely a fight that comes down to who gets the upper hand before the other.
20:25 Well I think that's likely due to the fact that animation in general is really hard to pull off, especially in this style. So I take it that was the catch that came along with having this style of animation, whereas it probably would've been in the old 8-bit style animation if the fight was longer. Nevertheless, I personally LOVED this Death Battle! I loved the fight, the animation and the outcome. I also loved your reactions of it, and I'm very excited to see more, so I just subbed to your channel! 😃👍 Btw, I was just curious if you guys unknowingly miss the very end of these Death Battles, or do you intentionally skip it because you don't want to know who's fighting next? *Edit:* Wait, hold up. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about by the way I worded that question... 😓 Here, I'll try to rephrase it. Every single episode of Death Battle, at the VERY end, has a *"Next Time"* preview, where it shows who's fighting next. In your reactions of DB that *I've* seen so far, you often stop the video before seeing who's up next, and I was just wondering if that was intentional or not. I hope that's easier to understand now. My bad. Haha 😅
The only problem I have with this death battle is that they wildly buffed Jason, and left out the fact that he was a zombie at one point. By buffing I mean they gave him things that happened in the comics that never appeared in the movies. Which would be fine, except Michael doesn't really have comics so using his base movie version against Jason's buffed comic book version is pretty unfair. When they said the one person who got away hacked him to bits and Jason still lived, they're not really being truthful about that. Jason died in Friday the 13th part 4. Like died. He was dead. The only reason he came back was because he was struck by lighting and turned into a zombie, to which he also eventually died chained up at the bottom of crystal lake. Jason also died in Friday part 9 at the very beginning where he was completely blown apart. He only survived that because hell brought him back. In reality, Jason has died a lot more in movies than they let on in this death battle. The only time Michael "died" in the original Halloween timeline was in Halloween 2 with the hospital explosion, and even that turned out to not kill him, just put him in a coma. So I could be wrong, but I detect heavy amounts of Jason favoritism here.
Micheal just cant keep up with jasons durabilty and healing you gotta remember jason is a super zombie while extremely hard to kill myers is still human comics or not jason wins no matter what sorry and im a myers fan
@@ZynicxzTKL Not really no. Michael is never outright confirmed as one thing or another, and in nearly 50 years of being on the big screen, he's only ever died once on screen, that being Halloween ends 2 years ago. Jason is never outright stated to have healing in the movies, and has died in more movies than he's lived in. In terms of durability, I'd say Michael is far more durable, since he gets shot with pretty high caliber weapons regularly, and walks it off like a bad hangover. Michael has also been implied to be supernatural from the very beginning, with the first movie saying things about him shedding his humanity to become evil personified. "I spent 8 years trying to reach him, then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boys eyes was purely, and simply, evil. Jason's movies make him look pretty weak if you actually see what kills him. Drowning, a machete, a motorboat, telekinetic resurrected dad, (pt7 was weird) meanwhile Michael only finally got killed after his body was put in meat grinder after he had been stabbed and slashed to hell. The death battle uses heavily enhanced versions of Jason from the comics, which isn't fair because Michael doesn't have comics, hence the fight is rigged in Jason's favor.
This death battle was definitely interesting because they're both serial killers in the movies it's kinda like if u put granny Ripper versus Jack the Ripper the battle of the serial killers🩸🩸🩸🩸❄️
Fun fact:The 2 victims they used in this battle are the campers from the friday the 13th video game and using the halloween ends michael was an easy stomp for jason which the halloween ends michael was the weakest making the latest movie was absolute garbage
The whole "survived getting rammed by a truck and police car going at full speed" bit is wrong. That was someone dressed in a similar outfit and mask, and that person didn't survive. Those who saw the original Halloween II know who I'm talking about.
The only time in the movies where there is no other explanation for Jason except teleportation was Jason X (aka Jason IN SPAAAAACE!). It was not a good movie and broke a lot of common "rules" of the lore. Also, if you look closely, Joselynn the Intern is the first victim during the fight.
With regards to my opinions on film franchises like "Friday the 13th," "Halloween," and my favorite, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," I feel that the originals and maybe the couple of movies that came after them were the best, while the more modern stuff misses the mark (at least with regards to Halloween and Texas Chainsaw; Jason's kind of always been a bullet-sponge juggernaut even from the beginning). This is because, when later directors took over the reins to the films, they forgot what made their star slashers scary in the first place. With regards to Michael Myers, it wasn't simply because he was seemingly invulnerable to harm; it was because he was "The Boogeyman," "The Shape," a blurry silhouette or eerie presence, rather than a flesh-and-blood man. He was scary because you never knew where he could turn up, you could only follow his movements when he deliberately _let_ you hear his boots creak on the staircase as you hid from him upstairs, or heard his slow menacing breathing as he was peering down at you from BEHIND. He would torment you by turning your home into a messed up haunted house attraction, arranging the bodies of your friends to pop out whenever you opened a door, or tried to hide in a cabinet, making you scream and give away your position. And as for Leatherface, Bubba Sawyer... well, they tried to copy from Halloween and turn him from the emotionally vulnerable, tragic man-child we know and love into a tanky giga-chad menace who's more outwardly confident and mean. They also forgot the particular brand of slasher horror he belonged to: 'Hillbilly Horror.' Usually the plot with these types of stories _DON'T_ revolve around a single individual, but rather an entire family of murderous, degenerate mutants and psychos, as in Wes Craven's _The Hills Have Eyes_ , or the first two _Wrong Turn_ movie (all the ones after those are stinkers and not really worth watching). The reason Leatherface (and by extension his family of Drayton "Cook" Sawyer, Nubbins "Hitchhiker" Sawyer, and Grampa Sawyer) is so terrifying is because he fulfills a specific role and works together with his family as a deadly unit. Drayton is the one who acts as the "Brains" of the group, managing a gas station/ barbeque restaurant, occasionally bonking the heads of Nubbins and Bubba together, and hurling insults and slurs at them to get them to focus on a task and be slightly less stupid, his authoritative presence and ability to lie through his teeth (outwardly appearing to be the most sane and calm of the bunch, even when we know for a fact he isn't) to the cops or detectives or anybody who might be snooping around their base of operations. Nubbins acts as the "Scout/Lure," using his pastime of wandering up and down the isolated East Texas freeways (mainly because he's a creeper, prone to sneaking into the graveyards, digging up the corpses, desecrating them into weird and ghoulish shapes, and then taking pictures of them on his Polaroid camera) to scope out potential victims, by hitching a ride with them and then marking the cars and vans of future victims with his blood so that when they drive up to Drayton's gas station looking to refill their gas tanks or get their car clean, Drayton knows to not give these folks gas and to sic Bubba on them. And of course, our sweet, simple Bubba, the "Muscle/ Watchdog" of the demented Sawyer Clan who's tasks revolve around protecting their home from nosy trespassers, putting down any threats to the family using his considerable bulk and butcher's tools, and preparing the meat so that the cannibalistic Sawyers can feast (and if there's any leftovers, then Drayton sells it at his gas station as 'Barbeque 'n' Chili,' as Grade A Sawyer-Brand "Long Pork"), as well as performing daily housekeeping tasks about the farm, such as caring for Grampa via sponge baths, changing the nearly 100 year-old clan patriarch's man-diapers, and otherwise being the maid of the house (complete with a Feminine "Homemaker" Mask and dainty floral apron, in place of his more masculine 'Killing' Mask and slick plastic yellow butcher's smock). Each member of the Sawyer Clan carries out a specific duty that individually wouldn't be all that useful or impressive, but when done in coordination with the others, makes them a nearly unopposable terror to unprepared tourists and lost travelers driving through their territory. The whole is ultimately greater than the sum of it's parts. If Bubba or Nubbins weren't around to provide the backup strength of younger bodies, then Drayton would just be a crusty, middle-aged gas station attendant with a morbid sense of humor, not physically imposing enough to strike fear into anybody or do all the heavy-lifting. If Drayton wasn't around to offer leadership, a (debatably) more stable, cool, and intelligent mind, and the occasional ass-kicking to get them in shape, Bubba and Nubbins would've been found out (as they both are the least stable and more outwardly nutso of the bunch) and sent off to the loony bin a _loooong_ time ago. And without the reassurance, the emotional support and the more "adult" thought processes of his older brothers to guide him, give his life purpose, then Bubba honestly wouldn't know what to do with himself, wouldn't know how to take care of himself, perform first aid on himself when he gets hurt, to remember to change his clothes, or cook his food, or anything that a fully competent, mature person would be capable of; instead, he would just cower and bide his time, like some kind of melancholic robot or flesh homunculi, automatically going through the motions, but completely and utterly devoid of a will of his own, just waiting in the darkened shadows of the Sawyer estate for someone, some member of the Sawyer Clan to return and give him orders, to both care for him and to be cared for by him.

BTW just got a notification for your video "1st annual winter request" so I'm exited about that one and of course made a suggestion^^ not sure how you will go through them all considering there are 27 days left and allready about 275 comments but hey that just means something to your taste will definitivly be in there.... plus I just like the idea something like that is relativly rare espacially if someone doesnt have the funds to support all the creators they like on patreon so thank you both for including the entire community in this 😃
Terordrome reaction when?
Its a horror fangame.
I think that this Death Battle was made well before Halloween ends came out.
So happy you two reacted to this! But can you guys try to react to the first death battle of sonic vs Mario? Since you did watch the 2nd one! Keep up the good content (:
Interesting fact: if you slow down the video when the guy runs to get away after Michael attacks him with the axe, you can see he runs past the tree Michael left Jason pinned to, only now his body is gone.
I binged about 50 of yalls vids. Think its subscribing time indeed
Michael Myers wants to kill his family meanwhile Jason has the power Of family
The next battle is Sauron (Lord of the Rings) vs Arthas The Lich King (World of Warcraft).
Who are you two voting will win?
I love them both but I'd have to go sauron
@@Alexanderthegreat159 Same.
I'm backing Jason. He's cooler than Michael by a longshot.
I wasn't looking when Beth was all "Okay you can gloat"
I was expecting her to be looking off to the side, when all of a sudden Ken leans back onscreen with a pointy party hat and one of those little extending paper party horns.
Really wish you guys would watch till the end of the video for the next time. Other than that I enjoyed this!
I feel like pitting Jason Voorhees against Michael Myers is literary an example of "What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?" They're both hellbent on causing mass murders so I feel like it's purely a fight that comes down to who gets the upper hand before the other.
Great reaction btw!
Btw, I was just curious if you guys unknowingly miss the very end of these Death Battles, or do you intentionally skip it because you don't want to know who's fighting next?
*Edit:* Wait, hold up. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about by the way I worded that question... 😓 Here, I'll try to rephrase it.
Every single episode of Death Battle, at the VERY end, has a *"Next Time"* preview, where it shows who's fighting next. In your reactions of DB that *I've* seen so far, you often stop the video before seeing who's up next, and I was just wondering if that was intentional or not.
I hope that's easier to understand now. My bad. Haha 😅
I love you did all this just to not get noticed cause other people said this already
Also they skip around so they don't care about whos on next time.
Hm, i would like to you do either Solid Snake vs Sam Fisher, Captain Marvel vs Shazam or Robo-Cop vs The Terminator next.
Everyone knew who was going to win before the death battle even come out
Jason is the best evil character ever made.
Awesome Video! I'm glad Jason won.
This one was really fun and the animation was great. I think you guys should watch Afro Samurai vs Samurai Jack it’s a great one
It should've ended with both teaming up and cleaning up the camp together.
I am writing this to help out ken and Bethany and this video and this channel with the algorithm ✌️❤️😚☺️
Jason is better than Michael
👇
Will you two watch Thor vs. Vegeta? Because that one is nuts!
This death battle was definitely interesting because they're both serial killers in the movies it's kinda like if u put granny Ripper versus Jack the Ripper the battle of the serial killers🩸🩸🩸🩸❄️
Can you guys react to halloween ends please? Great vids!
If you guys are going monster death battles so far...might as well see kaiju fight... Godzilla vs gamera
Fun fact:The 2 victims they used in this battle are the campers from the friday the 13th video game and using the halloween ends michael was an easy stomp for jason which the halloween ends michael was the weakest making the latest movie was absolute garbage
This was a good reaction.
Jason is my second most favorite character of all time right behind Doomguy. I knew he had this one in the bag.
In 9:38 That Josalyn from the Desk of Death Battle. are u confused?
The whole "survived getting rammed by a truck and police car going at full speed" bit is wrong. That was someone dressed in a similar outfit and mask, and that person didn't survive. Those who saw the original Halloween II know who I'm talking about.
The only time in the movies where there is no other explanation for Jason except teleportation was Jason X (aka Jason IN SPAAAAACE!). It was not a good movie and broke a lot of common "rules" of the lore.
Also, if you look closely, Joselynn the Intern is the first victim during the fight.
Btw there’s a Friday the 13: The Game as well as a video with most of the kills in it maybe you can watch it
With regards to my opinions on film franchises like "Friday the 13th," "Halloween," and my favorite, "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," I feel that the originals and maybe the couple of movies that came after them were the best, while the more modern stuff misses the mark (at least with regards to Halloween and Texas Chainsaw; Jason's kind of always been a bullet-sponge juggernaut even from the beginning).
Absolutely fantastic video. And even though I like Michael myers, but Jason as always been my absolute favourite. Keep being amazing as always
Woth poiting that they made a balck guy did way more running then they did for Scout in Tracer vs Scout
Jason Voorhees wins fatality
Michael Myers let Busta Rhymes beat him up in hand to hand. Not even close
Just realized an Easter egg if you played the game that came out with Jason you probably realized that they copied the art Style but the name that the kid is screaming Alex is the name of a special character thatbcan fight off Jason thats pretty cool in my opinion
Could you guys do Goku Black VS Reverse-Flash next, please?
Fun fact for you guys in the freddy vs Jason vs ash sequel comic to the movie Freddy vs Jason it's revealed Jason is actually a deadite and that explains his invincibility and how he came back
Daredevil vs Nightwing is a great one!
At least Michael overpowered Jason pretty easily in the beginning
Both are killers but one can be prevented while the other is just to abort or strangle in sleep.
Michael dominated the fight but Jason's durability gave him the win
I hope that they do episode with Jeepers Creepers someday. Like, Jeepers Creepers vs Pumpkinhead or Ghostface. I would like to see that.
I win. I really thought Michael would've used a body double at one point. But no, I'm the winner.
Since Micheal is pure evil. Jason is the good guy.
Bruh this was unfair af Jason's strength and durability would be way too much for Micheal
love seeing some dbd assets being used
also mikey never had a chance
Venom vs Crona, Please!?
I would like to see that too👍
Ki Ki Ki - Ma Ma Ma.
React to Thor vs Vegeta, that match up is quite an entertaining
If it's pre F13th pt 6. I'd still go with Jason but wouldn't dispute a loss. After part 6. The big V all the way.
If you want a live action version of this check out the fan film on youtube "Michael vs Jason Evil Emerges" you will love it!
I suggest Omni man vs Homelander its an amazing one very gory
I agree with both of you the battle could have been a bit longer I too thought there were missed opportunities that they could have played around with I was a bit bummed because Michael Myers is my top favorite killer but in my opinion for it to be decided who the true Victor would be is if they would have versed off in theaters like Freddy versus Jason but other than that the battle was okay
I love Micheal. He doesn't belong in a universe with Jason or Freddy. Zombie Jason is the only one that can battle the Dream Demon.
I always thought Halloween and TCM seemed very realistic at the time. Then they tried chasing the success of Freddy and Jason which made no sense.
Jason is God tier Michael is angel tier they aren’t even close lol. Jason would actually mop the floor with Michael he way stronger than him too on top of the healing factor and bloodlust this fight was closer than it needed to be to please Michael fans lol.
If there’s a death battle that has a character you can hate is Reverse Flash from Reverse flash vs black goku DB totally recommend
I will admit, I believed Myers would win…
When UCM hishe volum 3 ?
Spongebob squarepants vs aquaman will be the greatest fight y'all will experience to react❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
While there both psychopathic killers,it is a very hard decision because there both kinda equal but I mean Jason Voorhees has a lot more backing him up even though Michael does to but you have to think about it,Jason Voorhees went up against a lot stronger foes than Michael such as Freddy Krueger and Leatherface and a few more but Jason wins this one extreme diff
I was wondering what episode of death battles you guys watched so far is both of your favorites
Ken or Bethany what death battle that you guys seen so far is your favorite
Jason will win physically, but Michael will win mentally
FURIOSA A MAD MAX SAGA ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🚛🤟💀💀💀☠️☠️😈
A death battle I think you'll like is sub-zero VS Glacius from killer instinct 😁
