I'm Molly, a typical sushi, makeup, and fashion loving millennial girl who just so happens to be blind! I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! For as much as people say they have social anxiety on here they sure don’t understand shyness at all. I don’t know about Charli but I have social anxiety to the extreme and this is exactly how I talk to someone I don’t know very well. A lot of “yeahs” and “for sure.” Your mind goes blank and all you can think is “don’t sound stupid...say something..no don’t say that, that’s stupid” then you just don’t say anything except “mhmm”
i am the same way, however in this case i think charlie is just quite and she understands that molly can’t see her nod so she speaks with “mhm” “yeah” and “ok” just so molly is aware she’s still listening, ya know?
Heh, shyness and social anxiety is not the same thing. I have agoraphobia (severe social anxiety) and avoidant personality disorder but I'm not shy at all.

Molly amazes me. She's blind, but she just... does things. Like she doesn't even stop herself and think "This is going to be too hard for me", no she just does it like nothing can stop her. She drove a car successfully. I can't even drive. I freak out in the drivers seat and I'm sighted. Way to go Molly, you're better than me!

Xx Faze being blind for most ppl is like the inside of their eyes if that makes sense. And some ppl they have a condition that make their outside of their eyes foggy (idk the condition but I heard about it so plz tell me about the name)

kind of annoyed at these comments tearing into charli, yes she comes across as a little bit shy, but shes also super polite and and a good sport about trying on everything. molly has been on youtube for years, she's used to talking to the camera, where as most of charlis content is her dancing. molly wasn't this charismatic and sure of herself when she started on youtube, it was a skill she developed over the years. if charli is still making content in 10 years she'll probably be a lot more confident then too

It just goes to show that Charli is super nervous and shy and she knows that this is Molly’s video for her channel so she is letting Molly take the lead and do the speaking.
In charlis video the whole “vibe” is flipped and charli does an AMAZING job of explaining to Molly the pieces and allowing her to feel the textures and understand the look. She’s also SUPER respectful of Molly.

The thing is ppl are comparing a 26 year old who’s been publicly speaking for about a decade (if not more), who makes youtube videos for a living and who’s not afraid to be out there to a shy teenager who makes tiktok videos and is starting to get out of her comfort zone
So yes Molly’s gonna talk more and be more confident and relaxed in front of the camera! That’s normal and expected! But we shouldn’t compare the two because they’re two different people with different life experiences
I find it endearing, there are so many over-confident narcissistic teens, she's just a normal, sweet, shy girl. Must be overwhelming to have gained such a huge following in a short space of time.
I watched her and thought she's the same amount of shy when my bf's sister comes to our place and she seems intimidated by me for some reason. Similar age difference too, I'm 26 like Molly and she's 18, so only 2 years older than Charli. And the second thing I thought was: that would be me in front of a camera: awkwardly shy and "what the heck am I even doing" vibe XD

Usually she feels it and has someone describe it to her & she is really good at remembering where things are. They probably just cut out the person describing things. But Molly does put the outfits together herself!
Well, feel for one thing but also. She went through with her stylist before everything started and had them describe stuff. Molly has a really good memory and memorizes where everything is. She mentioned it in one of her other fashion videos one time.

Don't feel bad if you're not like Molly. Social anxiety is really rough and Molly doesn't have it, so it's easy for her to be bubbly, etc. That's her personality. We are all different, and being reserved isn't any worse than being extroverted...it's just different. I have had social anxiety my whole life. I'm older than you probably, and let me tell you what I have learned...don't compare yourself to extroverts because you are not like them! It will make you miserable to try to force yourself to be something you aren't. You are perfect the way you are. Love yourself for who you are and never compare yourself to others. Trying to mold yourself to be different than you are is an exercise in futility. Just be you and your confidence will naturally grow. The world needs both introverts and extroverts. Social anxiety truly sucks like crazy, but the good news is that it gets better when you get older. ❤️

When she is trying to find the matching floral shirt to the full bottom skirt you can tell she is hesitating because she can’t quite find it even though it’s right there. She can’t see them. She has a video about this.
