No, they use Odoo Online which has a dashboard to manage all your databases, one database per client, and a few templates to manage the master chart of account (associations, industries)
@@fabienpinckaers1177 Dear Fabien, we are a client of Odoo in Luxembourg. We are an accounting firm with +/- 430 client entities under management (perhaps currently a 200+ live Odoo DBs). We are a total fan of Odoo and highly recommend it to our clients. If however I may give a feedback on the central dashboard, it can/should still be improved to bring it to par with some of the competitors and the overall quality of Odoo.
seems strange as they have been using SAP themselves for the last 20 years (at least in Belgium). Also most of the large companies (this is where KPMG makes the big bucks) use SAP. A small/medium sized company in Europe will not hire KPMG for audit, consulting or tax.
I actually don't know a single fiduciary that uses SAP to do the accounting of his clients. On a purely accounting point of view, SAP is just not good enough for accounting professionals. The accountancy / fiduciary practice need fast recording of data, efficiency, real time ...and SAP's accounting is not on par with Odoo for the need of a fiduciary.
@@fabienpinckaers1177 KPMG traditionally has large companies as clients. These client mostly use SAP for accounting(not done by an accountancy). Not sure why you would need real time data in Accountancy. Also not sure why SAP HANA would be less efficient compared to Postgres.
Very interesting, so KPMG manage all accounting data of they're customers through the multicompany feature and accounting module?
