The voice is beautiful, the arrangement is spare, and the attack on the lyrics is stunning. I don't think most people realize how difficult and complex your job is. And yet your bring those notes and lyrics, and the ideas and thoughts they express, together into a perfect, deceptively simple packet that brings immense pleasure to the ear. And your artfully composed, and rather bleak Edward Hopper-ish, backgrounds also contribute to the pared-down essence of your version of this song. Bravo!
