There is a clear difference between my regular fuse and the SR Master Fuse in my Bottlehead Crack. I only have about 8 hours of burn in vs the recommended 200 to 300 hours and I can already hear a major difference in soundstage and realism. I am truly blown away. Honestly, if it gets better than what I'm already hearing then I don't know what to say. Also, the Bottlehead Crack is not a high end system by any means, so even with an amp like it you will hear a big difference.
Clearly here the difference. more clarity and a deeper sound stage with the $600 fuse but likely only worth it for higher end systems. lower end systems are likely best investing in there power foundation/cables before investing in stuff like fuses
Did not hear a difference ... maybe you have to be in the room. So he's telling us that even with the new high end ground block and probably even more high end line conditioning, that a fuse is causing a higher fidelity difference? That makes no sense whatsoever. So given all of the advanced design work done in the amps, preamps, DACs, transports, et al, ... if only the designers / developers had a clue that they could have made a huge difference the resolution of their systems if only they'd used a better fuse ... if that's how you want to spend your money, have at it, but that is a ridiculous claim.
Even when listening from an ipad , you can hear a difference. Should make a big difference in a system
I heard it too. I love the vibration tower!
incredible isn't it?
$600 fuse? I’ll try listening harder. Haha

It makes no sense to change the input [to input 2]; if you switch the cable the preamp input doesn't change.

That's exactly what he is saying. Ed, in high-end audio, there is no absolute. Inevitably, things can always be improved. Thanks.
