    The vision of MathExamples is to provide the Best, Easy and Fastest way to prepare for any standard test and pass that test. Unlike all other UA-cam Channels, we believe that the only way to achieve this is to use sample test questions. Most tests repeats their questions or use very similar questions. We make sure we cover any twists that will let you get an answer wrong
    I am one of the creators of the UltimateAlgebra Course. A course over 40000 subscribers. I decided to start this because I believe there is a big difference between teaching using lessons and teaching using questions. They both have different places.
    Hope we are able to help you achieve your goals.

    W/ Mike and Hilda I am completely lost. I guess maybe if I was seeing things in terms of algebra and not in terms of nouns I could get it? I don't know. But how I did the work, I considered the assignment when done by them as individuals was 2 hours for Mike and 3 hours for Hilda and since there are now 2 people performing the tasks I divided their work time in half and then added them together (1+1.5)=2.5 hours for the two to complete the task. I will note, with that being the case, Hilda may as well left it all up to Mike, it would have been done faster. lol

      The logic you are using here is NOT RIGHT. When two people do something together it doesn't mean each of them must contribute 1/2.

    The 20 Boys) Okay so, I was confused by your method. Your ending result was 25/2 which is ultimately my answer which is 12.5. How I solved was I considered the information. 20 boys in 5 hours. 8 boys how long....? In order for me to get this I understood that the amount of time would increase due to the reduction in man power. So I divided 20 boys by 8 boys=2.5 so we know that it took 2.5 times as many boys to accomplish the work in 5 hours. So we can understand that it will take 8 boys 2.5 times as long to do the same job. 2.5x5 hours=12.5 hours which is a reduction of your result of 25.

    You did so many steps when we could’ve just done simple division. Is kind of confusing

      It is still simple multiplication and division. You just have to spend time going over it to know what divides and what multiplies. That is where students get it wrong

    if she spends 20$ every 2 days she would not spend 50$ after 5 days it would only be 40$... you just said she spends the money every 2 days, why would she spend a random 10$ on day 5?

      If you say on average this question would be correct though.

    • @SmileysLive
      @SmileysLive 5 років тому +1

      Lmao, you are looking at the WHY that you personally created too much. That type of over thinking is what makes you choose the wrong answer. Do not ask why she got gas on day 5. It does not matter what matters is figuring out how much she spends in 5 days on gas. Also it isn't a random 10$ notice the correlation child. They spend 10$ in gas everyday.

    • @SmileysLive
      @SmileysLive 5 років тому +1

      also by spending 10$ in gas everyday I don't limit my answer to spending it at a gas station refilling. I mean they drive 10$ worth of gas everyday. We just got shown how much they spend in a period of days.
