Limp Bizkit takes so much shit from people but i think their music is made to have fun, jump, dance and shit. Since i saw it that way , i found them pretty good on what they do. They sound better than a lot of "great" bands when they play live and they put a good show . If you remember the late 90's, they took over the world. You don't have to take them very seriously.
He is... I guess limp has a bad name for no real reason nower days... And i guess many people just say they're shit, because you are an outvast in the metal scene i you liked them... Thats with new metal in generell i guess...
He really gets way too much hate. Can’t deny they were a cornerstone in creating the numetal genre, not their fault it became a bit of a joke but we all jammed on it back in the day. He seems like a perfectly decent person irl.
@@bds_mguydasic9293 Fred was an immature little dick when they were big. Don't get me wrong I still have a lot of love and respect for all of them. You can find a lot of live shows where he comes off as an asshole. Seems like he's matured though.
He's 42, going on 43. It's strange to say that, but time definitely keeps on zipping by. I remember when these guys started out. I was jamming their first album as an 17 year-old, windows down, car full of friends, riding down the highway, to concerts, all over the town and wherever. Ah, where does time go!? Seems like yesterday...
That is a great question. I personally was very critical of him in the 90's. For me personally, I had a similar band that was a round before LB blew up and I guess I hated on him and them partially because of that (like only a young 20-something can). Some people felt that LB had a hand in House of Pains demise at the time too I think. In retrospect, Fred is a really talented, successful, smart and decent human being who does not deserve any of the disrespect given. Talented rapper too!
It was so good to seen the LP I remember from 2000, they took it to a new level at DL13. Also Korn, playing the old school tunes again took me back to the early 90's when I heard them for the first time.
I have to say, the music you picked for these interviews is just spot on. Great job guys, and great beard Fred, saw him last thursday sickest show ever.
It's interesting to compare old interviews with Fred to now. In 2000 he bought into his own hype. he broke cardinal rule #1 of the music industry. Now he has that deer in the headlights look, when he talks about those times. You can tell he didn't expect to fall as far, as fast as he did
I'd never really listened to Shikari but my friends insisted that we go see them and it was one of the best sets of the entire weekend! Limb Bizkit's set was hilarious, I wish people weren't so attracted to some fireworks...
fieldy from korn got a tattoo from durst, and korn liked his music which he played a sample of whilst tattooing fieldy, and that's how they became more famous
🤩💕Fred and Biskit he gave member of Korn free tat back in mid 90 s and there demo tape they played it for a producer he loved it and rest was history🔥🤘 They definitely have the band KORN to thank for there BIG BREAK
The first working title for this video was more accurate, but they changed it. It was "Seven things about Fred Durst you couldn't possibly care less about"
if u are a real limp bizkit fan u know he was a tatoo artist because thats how he made a friendship with the singer of korn wo gave him a chance to join korns tour and how limp made a tribute in the music world the reason limp excists is because of korn he made a rap batlle song with korn all in the family that on korns second allbum follow the leader wich went 5 times platinum and korn and fred are really good friends and SlipKnot has to shut up korn is still legendary with their 3first albums
Ahh...Limp Bizkit...what a guilty pleasure. I was in highschool in the late 90s and admittedly liked them. Over time, I grew out of that angsty nu-metal phase. But, then they come back out with that Gold Cobra song. So, I click it, expecting to get a few lolz out of the experience and...to my surprise...I liked the song. I think the key to enjoying LB is to not take it all so seriously. Their music is just fun and stuff. Though for me, Wes' guitar playing is by far the highlight of the band.
Fred offered Head and Fieldy from KoRn a free tattoo to get to talk to them about Limp Bizkit. He gave Head a KoRn logo tattoo that rather looks like "Horn". After seeing it, Fieldy bailed out, but was interested in Bizkit though...
I thought it was gonna be called Stampede Of The Disco Elephants but when it was released it was called Still Sucks? I don't care what it's called but I thought it was going to be called Stampede Of The Disco Elephants
It's cool to see him brought back down to Earth and not so ego driven. it was a pain in the ass to watch his poseur ass in the late nineties/early 2000s. It's nice to see him in the place he needs to be. It's nicer to see a human, rather than an ego-maniacal, ungrateful pop-superstar with no respect.
i really liked their '3 dolla bill yall' album when it came out, and liked 'significant other' and most of 'gold cobra' and most of their 'unquestionable truth pt 1' albums. didnt really get that into the others. but i've liked that "nu metal" and "rap-rock/ metal" style for a while
I'm definitely appreciating my classic metal favorites as much as I can at this point because here pretty soon, the LBs and Korns of the world are going to be too old to pull it off anymore... getting old sucks!!!

pro tip : you can watch movies at flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies lately.
@Augustine Connor yup, I have been using flixzone} for since december myself =)
Whatever, I like this guy.
He comes off very likable and down-to-earth in this interview.

i heard he did this all for the nookie
Yeah he said it's my way or the highway
Fred seems to be a nice person out of what I've seen in this video. LB rocks!
whats with the background music
I love it
Fred seems to have mellowed out a lot since the old days. Seems a lot more humble too.
Considering the shit he's gone through all those years and his growing age, I'm beginning to respect this guy.
IT'S JUST ONE OF THOSE DAYS

@@michop21 Exactly! 😂🤣 - I was 31 when I made my initial comment here, and now I'm 39. Enjoy the ride!
@@DerrickthePinecone haha I’m 31 now. Here’s to the next eight years!
Think you know Limp Bizkit? Think you know Fred Durst? Watch this video and guess again.
Think he's stoned
@@JackyDoubles1 bruh
I support Fred, shit if he can ever come aorund west palm beach or miami forida in general ill pay to see him hands down
They're coming to Orlando this September for the Rebel Rock Festival with Judas Priest.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL/.

It's nice to see Durst chilled out for once - I was at Download and the set was off the fucking chain!
It's like Fred was struggling to not say the wrong thing about Paris lol
I still love Fred and LB People need to forgive. Don't hold the hate.
Guy Eshel He's done some rude stuff in the past to fans . but past is the past
if the comments I'm seeing keep going this way I might just break something tonight.
this background music make me sick >.
wow he is so full of joy and life.
anyone else feel like playing Banjo Kazooie after hearing the background music?
Ryan Kats i’m going to go and buy an n64 right now
Baby RY RY!
Met him years ago, cool guy.
It was so good to seen the LP I remember from 2000, they took it to a new level at DL13. Also Korn, playing the old school tunes again took me back to the early 90's when I heard them for the first time.
Wish woodstock would still be around.
he may not be so pumped and excited for an interview, but I would love to just chill and talk to him he seems super interesting.
I have to say, the music you picked for these interviews is just spot on. Great job guys, and great beard Fred, saw him last thursday sickest show ever.
He's so energetic and has a great sense of humor.
"We're not sure the humor translated well"
Cough cough Gold Cobra cough cough.
Shut the cough cough fuck up
That was a great and interesting interview!

Lol, talking about the new album title. He says here he isn't going to change it, but they did. 😂
lol the song reminds me of that game donkey kong 64 lol sounds like something youd hear on that game
Unbelievable performance at DL13......Awesome
Fred and Limp Bizkit kick ass! I would love to meet Fred one day and just hang out and listen to his wisdom.
Boy is he fucking lively
such a happy fella....
Yes it is.
No, i also think he looks awesome with the beard xD
bigtime! absolutely insane
My hero
he's very different onstage than offstage...
Reminds me of Zakk with that beard
1:31 "yeah..." haha i'm oddly surprise how down to earth he is... great video & b/g music!
I'd never really listened to Shikari but my friends insisted that we go see them and it was one of the best sets of the entire weekend! Limb Bizkit's set was hilarious, I wish people weren't so attracted to some fireworks...

Love the beard Fred!!! Can't wait to see you live again!!!
fieldy from korn got a tattoo from durst, and korn liked his music which he played a sample of whilst tattooing fieldy, and that's how they became more famous
He was also a unlockable character in WWF Smackdown Just Bring It
Love the background music
whoever chose this background music is a genius
I was thinking the same Lmaoo
He is also a playable character in a wwe smackdown game too
wow been 11 yrs long time but they back

Rock Sound, how did you get that verified name check thing? did you get an email from youtube or something?
Great Band!
I love Fred!!
What was the reason behind the Mario Party background music?..
Just a heads up on the bogus trivia: Fred Durst was not an officer in the Navy. He joined to be an enlisted man but never graduated boot camp.
Great interview, but wtf is the background music
The background music really helps to capture this...
I wonder why they didn't mention Freds skating. He was a pretty good skater back in the 90s.
fun fact: stampede still haven't come out yet
You gotta love him
Good training material
What kind of meds are Fred on?
The first working title for this video was more accurate, but they changed it. It was "Seven things about Fred Durst you couldn't possibly care less about"

the moshing was unbelievable!
He sounds like Jim Florentine
yo wes you rock i saw u at rockville you had a mask and you were awsome plz reply im 10
that was a very intelligent answer regarding paris hilton
Agreed. It was great for Corey and Clown from Slipknot, but not when Fred is clearly reminiscing about hard parts of his life!
