The subtitles made one mistake. Rancho changed all word written 'miracle' to 'Rape' So silencer was basically calling the director rapist

All of her assumption were correct about rancho’s dad being rich 😂
The scene went like Rancho Farhan and Raju shared rooms and were good friends
So Headmaster Virus explained that Ranchos dad earned millions so he didn't need to worry about his future while the other two had to as their family income was less
So virus told them to change rooms and share it with chatur who was a brilliant and all good student in eyes of professors.

@@eunhyyk9268 you’re right, the netflix subtitles for this movie suck in all countries. I remember watching it on DVD years back so I remember the more accurate subtitles and got so disappointed after watching the netflix one. It’s so unnecessarily watered down. Like how in the drunk scene before they decide to confess to Pia, Rancho used “mistress and wife” as a metaphor for their love of engineering but the subtitle just said “you love engineering.”
The English translation was like 'served' became 'screwed'..... But it actually was something like 'miracle' to 'rape' ... The whole speech was so funny 🤣
I have noticed this in a couple of other reaction channels too. The assumptions made by women are generally correct.

Few points to note:
(1) Alissa was right about Rancho's dad, he's insanely rich.
(2) Well the funny part about the speech is that Chamatkar = miracle and Balatkar is the antonym of miracle. It's also used informally as a verb for rape, but it's actual meaning is opposite of Chamatkar, that is to say the opposite of a miracle. The ambiguous meaning of the word gives rise to the humorous speech, which when translated to English loses it's charm and sounds like people are joking around about rape, which is not the case.

The guy Chatur Ramalingam(Silencer) is from Uganda(African Country) born in Puducherry(English spoken territory in India), so he doesn't understand Hindi. He believes in memorizing over learning, so he actually didn't know what his speech means though.

* Where it was the scene for the salary thing the highest salary that was written by the professor was of third friend (Ranchos/Genius guy) father's monthly income.
* During the speech scene of the silencer (bond guy) he was supposed to say "Chamatkar" (means "something like doing wonders") but Rancho changed it to "Balatkar" (means "to rape (intended to be very much sexually). Additionally, "silencer" mentioned "Stahn" (means breast) which should have been "Dhan" (means riches (here, the guy beside the director (virus) was the donor who donated to the university. The rest you can guess if you follow what I said here.
* In the movie wherever there is a word "Ass" in subtitle that would be called a "Donkey" not sexual "Ass".
