Omg you're right. Chris is like the anti-Zach. Zach's manner of speaking and sense of humor sound crazy but he's actually a tactful guy; Chris's manner of speaking and sense of humor sound normal until it reaches a place where you realize he has no tact at all
That's why I love it when they're riffing on shit together, their contrasts play off each other really well but they can come together on the same completely unhinged joke too

Joy not Soy I mean, you’re right about evolution just being change, but I don’t really like your example, as in Bach’s time there were plenty of degenerates, (arguably more so than today) and in our time there are plenty of masterpieces and masterworkers when it comes to music and other creative outlets. for master pieces look at Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (album of the decade, btw) and The Caretaker’s Everywhere At The End Of Time, both of which are beautiful concept albums. and for masterworkers look at people like C.H Greenblatt and Kanye West (again).
Edit: do you mean social evolution, like how slavery was a thing in the 1800s but is now seen as being completely outlandish and racist and racism is also seen as being awful and degenerate? Or actual, biological evolution, which is different and what the original joke comment was about? Because while social evolution is just change, for better or worse, (most of the time for the better) biological evolution is only the changes that work and let the being(s) with those changes mate more and live longer (thus letting them mate more).

1: for C.H GreenBlatt I admit that I overstated his skill, and I should’ve included other more prolific artists, like Jim Henson or Walt Disney, but they didn’t come to mind at the time.
2. Did you seriously just call The Caretaker “Daycore Ballroom music”? Were you Lobotomized? Leyland Kirby (the guy behind The CareTaker) spent 3 Years on just one 6:30:00 concept album to express the stages of dementia through music, and nailed it so hard he got praised by the president of Dementia Care Education, a company that trains actual caretakers for actual dementia patients www.nytimes.com/2020/10/23/style/tiktok-caretaker-challenge-dementia.html not to mention that the entire album was produced only through digital means, a feat in it of itself. So yes, I do sincerely believe that The CareTaker is at the same level as Bach.
3: as for Kanye, if you see his music as vulgar, I recommend you listen to his 4th Album 808’s And Heartbreaks, no swearing, a lot of synth sound, barely any rapping on some songs, I think you may like it, and if you do, then you aught to listen to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Graduation, as they sort of bridge the gap between Kanye’s 808 sound and his more hard rap or R&B sounds off of albums like The College Dropout, Late Registration and The Life Of Pablo. As for me comparing him to Bach, i think that Kanye is a great rapper and an even better musician when his heart’s in it, and that he hasn’t made a single outright bad album ever, despite the difference between mental health albums like Ye and Kids See Ghosts and hyper vulgar celebration of debauchery albums like Yeezus and The Life Of Pablo (even though both of these albums are actually criticisms of the rockstar hyper-debaucherous lifestyle), despite this though I don’t think that he’s quite at Bach’s level, though close when it comes to artistry and devotion to his craft, and even if I thought he was, I probably shouldn’t have put him there due to Kanye and rap as a whole being looked down upon in most musical circles, I probably should’ve put Queen or Pink Floyd there instead.
