You are correct ! I almost had a tank crash because of the Hanna Salinity meter. It kept on reading a perfect 1.026 for a months, but everything was stressed and some corals dying and my inverts dying. Did water changes, testing .... all no solution until some local reefer told me to use the Tropic Marin Hydrometer and it read my water at 1.031 !!
I think rock is bit too high. When corals start growing they will right behind the top woodwork. I also think as tank is bit closer to the floor may be front panel height might be bit more in order to grow taller corals long term. Just my thought. With this much money i would have done things differently for sure. Again its personal taste i guess.
Man, I don't know about you guys, the house is amazing no doubt about that. However the tank system itself I think that could be so different. One sump, ato, "better" lights. It will work eventually. The tank looks like a new one, it could be a masterpiece, but I don't know, if I have the money to do a "dream tank" would be very different in all ways. Maybe it's about personal taste too.
Absolutely love huge tanks man my person dream is a inground pool sized reef seperated in the center that is fully covered from above one side i would make a beautiful macro lagoon with sand and sponges inverts and species basically the play ground of the pool due to having to manage macros but the other side i would make a reef that has on side cliff like in nature for deep water species and the vertical placement of everything and then the other side a corner with large flat "mesa" "platoue" segments that i would use to grow colonies before placing them all along the other areas 😅 ik this is alot just wondering if you rhink its even possible 😂 its alot of praying and money but im not always buying the fanciest things its color contrast im an old head not into names into the product 🎉and yall have gorgeous corals
my friend i love your videos but this translation is scary, prefer to watch them in engish and iam porguese, if you need some help hit me up kepp going
Why would he put all the equipment in the flood zone? The whole point of the house sitting up so high was to avoid floods from hurricanes.
Why?

Gets kicked out the house for free game. lol He probably was "like that guy doesn't know what he is talking about."
He needs to upgrade to the optical sensors on the trigger sumps.
Nice system. Ventilating that hood looks s nightmare though seems pretty closed in
Cheers 🍻 👏🏻
"The beauty of salt is just so much more availability" 3:00 I strongly disagree. Any very well-kept planted tank can rival any well-kept reef tank.
Cant say that i agree with you. I've owned both and reef catches my eyes way more. But that's just my opinion
