just made this tonight..came out fire! Had to make sure I found a video with an African American woman because some people get shy with the seasoning !
I have to agree. I usually look for someone with Afro, Latin or Asian cooking if I want super flavorful food. Many people mistakenly believe healthy food has to be bland ( ex all the salad restaurants with dry, skinless breast meat). Chicken with the skin you make, without frying, is healthy. I do think rhe chickens should be raised in good conditions, but at the very least. Flavor can be synonymous with health. Thank you for the video!
I am from Arkansas and the oldest of five boys. My mother would always drag me to the kitchen to help her. Then I went kicking and screaming. As an adult I happy she did. I am HAPPIER to have found your baked chicken wing recipe. I just finished making them for Monday night football. My guest have eaten most of them and the game won't be on for a another hour. Getting ready to start a larger batch! BRAVO ZULU! (Navy for...A Job well Done!!!!!!!)
Made 50 wings today using your recipe. I've never made wings a day in my life and these turned out crispy and juicy!! Just like any restaurant. Put a whole stick of butter in a pot and about a cup of Frank's red hot for a homemade buffalo sauce. My family of 5 really enjoyed and we are already planning on buying more wings soon to use your recipe again. Thank you!!! :)
I’ve made these 3-4 times! They come out perfectly! Yum! I used my own seasoning mix including smoked paprika! I’ve tossed them in bbq sauce, hot honey, garlic Parmesan, pesto!
I just made these tonight and they were PERFECT! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly baked, and I am super picky when it comes to naked wings. Thank you for sharing this with us! Definitely my ‘go to’ route when cooking wings from now on.
Ranch, honey mustard, bbq sauce, and others are great, BUT: the original common dip from back in the 1980s, when buffalo wings 1st became the craze, is still the best - Blue Cheese with celery sticks on the side 😋😋👍 !
Lord in heaven these wings are the bomb. I can eat them guilt free since I’m staying away from too many carbs. Thanks a lot Kiana for this delicious recipe!
Omg thank you so much for sharing your video ! I am currently cooking this ! I just popped my wings in the oven at 250* for 30 minutes and currently waiting 😍🤗 I’m so excited !
I followed and for my seasoning I used 2 packs Taco Season with the Corn Starch. Fantastic and no dressing. Umm Umm Good. Thank You for the post. Never baked wings B4.
These were great! Didn't follow the seasoning exactly - but was just looking for the right method to do these in the oven and have them come out crispy and juicy and delicious and they were just that. TY for sharing!
Making these tonight for the game 👏 I’m Team Blue Cheese AND Hot Sauce🎉 Thank you Kiana😘 Making a homemade hot sauce with melted butter, hot sauce and garlic powder 😯😛❤️
Made this I don't have the baking tray you have but I used a foil pan. I didn't have lemon pepper I replaced it with chicken seasoning and it came out fire 🔥. I will be using lemon pepper next time.
Will make it this weekend thanks! If i had a choice it would be ranch over blu cheese dressing. My first choice would be just seasoned or with sweet chili mango sauce.😊
I just made these wings tonight. They are absolutely yummy!! They're easy to prepare too and will be on my regular rotation. I ate them without a sauce or dip but I'm a bleu cheese girl all the way.
I don’t have a video for it but to clean it you can soak it in water with 1/3 cup of vinegar for 15 minutes then scrub your chicken with a lemon wedge. Then after thoroughly rinse them off.
Preheat oven to 250. Cook chicken for 30 minutes. When time is up, increase the oven temp to 425 for 20 min. Then flip chicken and continue to cook for another 20 min. Then it's done.
I bake my wings at 450 or 45 minutes... can anyone tell me why its better to bake at low temperature for 30 minutes before turning the temp up? thanks!
just made this tonight..came out fire! Had to make sure I found a video with an African American woman because some people get shy with the seasoning !
😂 you ain’t lying !
You aint lying. I was saying the same thing.
Its only because "some people" have to pay for there seasonings cuz food stamps are less available for "some people"

Soon as I saw her face I said “tell me what to do Sis!” Lol

Probably a silly question, but did you just multiply the seasoning amount by 50?
I’ve made these 3-4 times! They come out perfectly! Yum! I used my own seasoning mix including smoked paprika! I’ve tossed them in bbq sauce, hot honey, garlic Parmesan, pesto!
That sounds fire
@@devin-g6k they are pretty good!

Right and blue cheese and celery sticks will forever be my favorite! Hope you enjoyed the recipe💜
😊hands down
Wow! The corn starch and especially the cooling rack made all the difference. It took my barely OK recipe to one I want often Thank You!
You’re welcome, glad you enjoy the recipe!
Yes! A little bit of corn starch is key to getting them crisp
I made these today and they were sooooo good! Thanks for taking the time to share!!!
If I don’t have a cooling rack will they still be crispy or not as much?
just made these for dinner, AMAZING!!! Thanks!!
Glad you liked the recipe!

You’re welcome!
Yessssss GIRRRL🤤😋🤤😋💖💖💖
Be careful on the carbs with this though..... 1 tbsp of cornstarch = 7.3g of carbs

Thank you for sharing! I tried it and it came out wonderfully crisp on the outside and not overcooked inside.
I prefer ranch dressing.
I followed and for my seasoning I used 2 packs Taco Season with the Corn Starch. Fantastic and no dressing. Umm Umm Good. Thank You for the post. Never baked wings B4.
Glad you like the recipe 💜that’s how you know it’s good when you don’t have to dip it in dressing lol I’m the same way
This is by far the best wing recipe video on UA-cam.
Looks delicious! I'm definitely going to try this recipe....Thanks! I've heard to use baking powder....do you think corn starch is better?
This might be a stupid question 😫 but after the initial 30 mins on 250, do I take them out while it comes up to 450 for the next 40 mins?!
No you don’t have to you can turn it up while it’s already in the oven
These were great! Didn't follow the seasoning exactly - but was just looking for the right method to do these in the oven and have them come out crispy and juicy and delicious and they were just that. TY for sharing!

corn starch, potato starch, or rice starch

Just made this and i give this recipe a 10/10 🤤🤤
How do you clean chicken? Which video shows that?
I don’t have a video for it but to clean it you can soak it in water with 1/3 cup of vinegar for 15 minutes then scrub your chicken with a lemon wedge. Then after thoroughly rinse them off.
@@CookingWithKiana Thank you! 😊

Does your house smoke up when you turn it up to 425°? From the rendered fat in the pan below burning?
Mine doesn’t but everyone’s stove is different
Mines did lol
@@kittyycat3138 lol I think I’ll have to turn it down a lil bit if I try it. Nothing more exhausting than fanning the smoke detectors with a towel lol
sold. trying it right now. subscribed. peace to the gods
I will be making this today thank you very much
I'm going to make some wings tomorrow with some mild sauce and I always bake them and dip them in ranch dressing
Just found your recipe will try it this weekend thank you
You’re welcome 😊
Ummmmm…. I hate wings usually but I made these for my son and they were DELICIOUS. So good. Thanks for a great recipe!
Those are some good looking wings. I've got some to cook tomorrow. This looks like a great recipe.
So does she not put oil on them?
This recipe is the bomb! Thanks Kiana!
You’re welcome!
These look bomb 🔥 may I ask why you cook them at 250 first and then 425 after?
Thank you! Putting it on 250 first renders off the fat from under the skin so it can get extra crispy
@@CookingWithKiana Thanks for the info!! Gonna make these for the fam 🍗
60 seconds into the video and my mouth is already watering.
Oh yeah girl you did it. I made them and I will not make them any other way. Thank you for sharing and definitely ranch dressing.

Sooooooo I tried this recipe 3 days straight. Me and my lady love 'em! Heck, I even ate her leftovers haha. Craving more today!
Gonna give it try
Omg! These are so yummy !! Family loves them thanks for recipe . They will be one of my favorites . 😀
Thanks, glad you guys enjoyed the recipe!
I hate anything spicey, so I left the Cajun spice out. They were still marvelous, thank you.
I put my wings in dryer to dry, now all the skins fell over. What to do?
What is "complete seasoning?"
will they still come out the same without the corn starch ?
Yes, it just won’t be as crispy.
Corn Starch? I thought it was Baking Powder. Will it matter much?
Thank you
No problem
Just did this, too fye 🔥💯
I'm making your dish as I write this note. Thank you!
What temperature did you set the oven to?
Preheat oven to 250. Cook chicken for 30 minutes. When time is up, increase the oven temp to 425 for 20 min. Then flip chicken and continue to cook for another 20 min. Then it's done.
What about flower
I used this recipe OMFG best wings I ever made. My kids before for em every week
Imma try this recipe using whole wings this weekend. Will post my results
I bake my wings at 450 or 45 minutes... can anyone tell me why its better to bake at low temperature for 30 minutes before turning the temp up? thanks!

Cornstarch? I’ve always used baking powder. Is cornstarch better? Will someone who’s tried both comment below for me?
