The difference between Fahrur and a lot of other vespa restorers is that Fahrur really takes pride in his work. This is why he is so thorough in the preparation of the paint job. A lot of others will simply give it ONE coat of clear, and then maybe.polish it.? But not Fahrur, as he said, he gives it the first coat of clear (Belkote the best) then sands it using the BEST sandpaper money can buy, (DMS) all their products are fantastic.! Then he normally applies a further TWO coats of clear, then finishes the job off by polishing it all. You just won't get that commitment from other restorers
for them it takes too much time and money, however with Fahrur, he loves his work so much, and takes pride in knowing that he has done a TOP QUALITY job of the restoration. I know Fahrur personally, and if you have a vespa you want restored, i HIGHLY recommend you take it to him at "Garasi paintwork" in Berastagi.
