I am so glad I found this video. As a kid in the early 90s I stole my dads coveted vhs camcorder and walked through the woods filming deer while trying my best Marty Stouffer narrative. It was my passion to film and I have always dabbled with it over the years filming my hunts. I was a very successful archer in the 90s as a kid but let life beat me up and lost my drive. Last year I won a Maine moose permit (Maine Resident) and I attempted my best to take it with a bow. I shot more arrows in the month of July than I'd shot in any year going back to 97. I pushed my range 20 yards further than ever before and I was flat out back in the groove. Moose season was successful but ended up having to take my bull with a 300 win mag with a 300 yard shot. It brought back that desire and the will for filming of the highs and lows of how physically hard a hunt like that is. I have decided to film my 6 year old's first turkey hunt. I upgraded from hdv tapes to a better camera and God willing I will be able to record my kids first hunt successful or not. Starting to build content so I can use the sponsors to further my reach to share my passion.
Great video guys! My husband and I are just starting to film our hunts and getting into the whole UA-cam thing. So far it has been a lot of fun and we love following your channel and social media pages and learning what you have done to be successful. It is awesome seeing real, legitimate people who are passionate about the outdoors and not just doing it for "instafame". Keep up the good work! I hope to meet you guys one of these days.

Thank you for the video. Just starting out. Doing a lot of research. I’ve been bow hunting since I was 8 years old. Unfortunately, I don’t have many photographs or video documenting my earlier hunts. This video is full of excellent information. You both be safe and continue to enjoy the great outdoors.
Shawn Casteel I’ve been hunting for 14 years and just started filming last year. Once you start, the followers, the sponsors, the likes will all go out the window. You’ll do it because it’s fun trust me!
Man this is some great info guys! Something that I feel like a lot of people are trying to do nowadays (I think some for the wrong reasons) but I think this video sheds some light on how difficult it can be and not everyone understands that! People hunt because they love it and it's fun and it can be a tradition and people don't understand that sponsors aren't just going to throw money at you when everyone loves to do it too haha p.s we love to see other hunting couples, also ones from Ohio
I have zero interest in making money in the outdoor industry. I'd rather be a customer, but I love not only the content you two create but everything you represent. Keep up the amazing videos and thank you for being such genuine people. P.S. your turkey tour was so fun to watch!

Quality content should always be the end goal. Money, sponsorships will come later. Great memories will forever be remembered and documented for our friends/family to see if nothing comes from your hard work, which to me is more important than free stuff. Getting paid to do what you love is just a bonus.
I hope im not to late to comment on this cause i have a question i believe u two will be able to answer for me. U mentioned to broaden our hunting locations or something close to that and im taking it as to travel to other places even states to go hunting. My question is i dont have any other places to hunt except the 80 acre lease me and my now deceased father have hunted since i was still in high school. What would be the easiest way for me to find other places to hunt, especially out of state with knowing NO ONE?.......out of state with land that is. I apologize if this is a stupid question but i would absolutely love to go out of state to hunt but again i know no one with a place out of state nor do i really have the money to spend hundreds of dollars on say a guided hunt. Am i just screwed lol? Yalls help or answer would be a HUGE help. Great vids and plz keep it up!!!! Thank you
I remember when I was in middle school my buddies and I started an instagram page and messaged all the big companies asking for sponsors with no footage whatsoever 😂 years later I have my own small hunting channel and I’m not out here chasing sponsors really. I don’t want money or free stuff, I just want to associate myself with the brands I love. I run Howser Outdoors because I enjoy it and that’s it. I try to grow my following not to gain anything except the joy of doing it. Currently have no sponsors and that’s fine by me, but I’d gladly a accept the right fit if it comes along
