No not really . It's not that it's not pleasant. It is just that you have so much better scent profiles in your collection that you would not know when to wear it really. The only real plus is the price on discounter sites . It's like a no brainer every scent. Nothing to impress with really. it is their version of the blue fragrance that every designer house has ,but it is not Azzarro's specialty. I think if was to get it, it's more like ok now I can say that I have all the ones in that line . But that's it !

Platinum was a pleasant surprise for me, so much so, that I was happy to get a bottle, albeit at a great price. It's a versatile fragrance. Certainly a vast improvement over Ultra Blue. A package has literally just arrived, containing Brioni Éclat. It's been given a quick first blast and wow, what a wonderfully classy and understated, summer scent. It's absolutely gorgeous with notes of grapefruit, musk, ambroxan and rose. It will be my SOTD.

I recently walked through Macy's and smelled through their whole collection. Platinum was the only thing that smelled new and unique and I bought a bottle. The dry down is lovely and it has legs.

Just picked it up, the dry down is really nice! I get whiffs of it throughout the day and even still smell it after a shower. If you find it for a good price, get it

Someone stopped me at the store to ask me what I was wearing and that’s never happened to me before. I have smelled this before. The 1st time I smelled it was in 1986 or 1987! I missed it so much! Its got a magical dry down smell that I would describe it as a descretely sweet nut, with citric, spicy and green opening accords that I simply Love too! This scent means a lot to me and it caused me one positive emotional value that cones from the scent of Nootka EO.❤❤❤ thank you Montblanc!
For me, it's a mix of Santal 33 and Davidoff Good Life. I absolutely love it, especially the dry down, and I can still smell it the morning after. I sometimes combine it with Cool Water.

Got mine this week and I do enjoy the opening a lot. I actually get a cucumber / Gin Tonic vibe, which unfortunately fades away quickly and turns into yet another standard woody scent. Not a great projection and longevity, so unfortunately not a must-have and won't rebuy.
I ordered a bottle when it first came out and when I got it and had a wiff.. I thought I have something similar already and I knew straight away what that was and it is Prada Carbon.. Granted the explorer platinum opens up slightly different but after about 5 minutes they smell the same to me. I put it in the cupboard with the Prada the same day that it turned up and forgot all about.. because I don't actually like either of them!! But never mind with live and learn..🤨
I personally love the simplicity of this explorer. So far I like it best of all the flankers and even the OG. Very versatile. Very simple . This falls into that Swiss Army knife , does it all type vibe. I bought it blind bought it at the casino because it was the only thing they had in stock that I didn’t have at home. I had smelled it once at the mall over a year ago, could not remember what it smelled like, I just knew it wasn’t awful. I’m quite satisfied with my full retail purchase and have zero regrets. Versatile and easy to wear. It’s a win/win situation. I’ll keep it and rock it till the wheels fall off 🫶
I get Zero Platinum egoist, ( I swear it’s only because the name is platinum.) and very slight subtle hints and nuances of the best parts of Moncler. This explorer is Hyper versatile and easy to wear

Yeah I mentioned that in another comment here. a Legend Night Parfum would be fun to see if it's as good as the original legend night. That was one of my favorites from Mont Blanc!
Nowadays there are so many fragrances. Most designer fragrances available in stores have probably been recommended to you in one of these videos. Because of that, this probably is not something you should get. Maybe if you try it and love it but for most people there are better options at a similar price
My very first impression the first time I smelled this... I said, "Interesting"... I couldn't stop smelling it because it's so different and just interesting. However, I don't know if I'd wear it. You will stand out with this... but it just isn't me. I thought I smelled some coconut in there as well. It can be a bit challenging. It's just different. I don't hate it, I don't love it either. It's pleasant but again, just not for me.... It almost seems like something I would quickly spray in a room but just not on me.
Armani Code EDP is probably slightly more mass appealing and a bit more attractive. Y le parfum is a nice one as well though. Two different scent profiles though so go with the one you enjoy the most! 👍Don't worry about the likeability factor as both are quite mass appealing and attractive. 😊 But Armani Code EDP has that thing that A LOT of people just love getting a whiff of.

I have decant of this. It's a so so fragrance. It's good, not a bad fragrance. But if I'm going to categorize this fragrance, I'll put it in the Common scent side. Not the WOW side. So...... I think I'll pass from buying a full bottle.
