In 2019 I went to Cardiff, Wales. I did a bus tour and the driver finding out that we were Jamaicans, slowed down at a school and told us that the first black Principal was a Jamaican female.
Such a lovely 😊 interview with mother and daughter. It is such a joy to know the love Carlene has for her daughter when she decided to travel abroad she never left her. Wishing both great success.
What a brilliant interview. I am glad that they are enjoying Wales and I greatly love and appreciate the fact that they are learning the Welsh language. I am a Welshman from the Valleys. The reason not many of us speak Welsh is because they used to get punished for speaking Welsh and also because of the coal mines which attracted a lot of English people to the area and the Welsh language was very frowned upon. The fact is that if the people of South Wales didn't face consequences for speak their language, they would probably all still speak it. If North Wales had the coal mines, then North Wales would be speaking English and the South would be speaking Welsh. *Diolch yn fawr iawn a phob lwc, foneddigion.*
Another great interview, mother and daughter are like two best friends, how lovely! Sorry they are unable to get green banana in Swansea but Carlene you can have plenty of curried mutton and rice🤣🤣🤣

Yes I'm from England and I love with people in Wales really nice people and generous to because I used to working promotions and stuff really good love Swansea
Ever since I was 10 years old, we learned that England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales are United Kingdom. I have read that the English oppressed the Wales centuries ago. This was in Jamaica school.
@@normacoote9856 mutton in the UK is old sheep n tough….but lamb which is closer to goat meat is just as good….and more plentiful…. I never buy mutton n goat meat isn’t easy to find unless you find a farm that sells to the public
I am an Expat Wannabe, waiting for that renewed passport to arrive so I can retire & enjoy traveling the world. You are such a pleasant interviewer and the people you choose are so interesting it makes me want to go places that I never thought of in the past. (Wales? 😳ok ) Thank you for what you bring ❤ it is culturally educational and with a fun twist of humor. I have spread the word about your channel 😊🙏🏾 It’s rainy & cold in North Carolina today so I’m binge watching your videos❤
Great interview! I did an Ancestry DNA test and I have Welsh ancestry at 3%. Now I'm learning about Wales and its connection to me. I'm half Haitian and half Honduran, so I'm mostly black.
Big up, Carlene! Big up my parish Clarendon and my school Edwin Allen. Yes, Xavier! We are very adventurous. I moved to the U.S. on my own and then to the U.S. Virgin Islands and back to the mainland U.S.
Norval Sinclair Marley was the father of reggae musician Bob Marley . Norval Marley was born in Jamaica . Son of Ellen Broomfield and Albert Thomas Marley. His father was a white Jamaican. You are aware, whites have been in Jamaica since 1494 Spanish Jamaica, 1655 British Jamaica.
Always enjoy your interviews very enlightening and educational.your program is teaching us valued information of different countries Awesome.Keep up the good work.
Love it! Love it! Great interview. My wife and I loved Carlene and Donique! Wales was on our list and we will be making the trip. Is there a Jamaican contact group?
What a way this woman look like my sister in law, who is a Jamaican 🇯🇲 who grew up in New York City! I learned quite a bit about Wales 🏴 culture during the interview. But, I suggest when you inquire about dating in this age of many options, don’t assume people aren’t in a same gender coupling relationship. With respect, no matter what the Jamaican culture shamefully dictates against same gender relationships, please refrain from questions indicating a woman’s romantic interest should only be with a man or same for a man’s preference. Love ❤️ simply is love 💕. Who knows…maybe that’s why your guest brought her daughter in to answer that question. Peace ✌🏽
Wales is beautiful lots of lovely waterfalls and the best beaches and countryside in the UK….. very unspoilt ….. lots of lovely castles …. we go all the time for holidays … the Welsh have their own language …. Eg Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland is Celtic England isn’t… Coventry is vile it’s not a nice place 👀…

I remembered the St. George’s Hotel in that little resort area of Wales.
Yea I’ve been to South Wales to my Brother wedding very beautiful place the scenery is breathtaking 💫

Easy! Learnt that from a kid.
Not curry lamb: curry mutton. If you ask for mutton in foreign one gets sheep meat. Jamaicans have to ask for Goat meat( not mutton).
