  • Terror in Disguise: In June of 1992, masked bandits pulled off a daring mid-day bank robbery. It marked the beginning of a four-year crime wave that rocked Seattle. With each new robbery, the bandits perfected their craft, leaving behind no evidence and escaping with hundreds and thousands of dollars. As the robbers became increasingly violent, pressure mounted to end their reign. With few leads, the FBI forced their own luck. The effort put them face to face with an armed and desperate fugitive.
Deadly Trail: When police in a small Washington State community began looking into the disappearance of a 22-year-old woman, they had no way of knowing it would evolve into a nationwide hunt for a sexual sadist. Police knew the killer’s identity, but he was a master of disguise. The FBI was called on to help. Agents discovered that several unsuspecting women across the northwest had fallen prey to his charms. As the number of abductions escalated, a massive media campaign became the FBI’s best chance of flushing out the serial killer, and putting an end to his violent rampage.
The Predator: A stranger snatched an eight-year-old girl as she played in her Tucson, Arizona neighborhood, leaving behind an abandoned bicycle and a frantic mother. Hundreds of citizens and police officers fanned out across the region, hoping to find some trace of the young girl or her abductor. Within hours, a suspect emerged; a drifter who was out on parole for abducting and molesting children. He was nowhere to be found and time had run out for the innocent child. It would fall on the FBI to quickly track down this predator before he could destroy another family.
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

Here's a couple affianced at a party...and she stays all night being chatted up by some bloke? You go on home honey I'm having a great time... Made me wonder but we can only go by the video. Unwise to draw assumptions but I'd say dope was involved. How many murders/ assaults did this creep commit? The horror he inflicted!

Every parent faces the question, "When is a child old enough to leave the house alone?". For a woman in Tucson, eight was the wrong answer.

These episodes are old and have already been uploaded by other ppl, and I've watched this specific episode multiple times now. FBI files, Crime Watch Daily, First 48 & New Detectives are all great crime shows. I grew up in the 80's watching Rescue 9/11 with William Shatner as host, but I like today's crime shows better because of the breakthrough in technology and investigative techniques.

Probably as addicted to the thrill as the money. Gave him a sense of "achievement" also a 20 acre ranch etc cost $$ and so do drugs which he may well have been into. Willing to do the crimes but not the 50 years time. Basically the FBI profiled the crimes& then got lucky... though Hollywood was careful, he wasn't about to stop.

...regarding the last scene involving child molestation:....I'm not a Bible thumper, but I do rest in the idea when Jesus said something to the effect of: Let the little ones come unto me...., but woe unto the one who causes any of the little ones any suffering (can't remember the exact words, but that's the gist of it...anyhow). Then, Jesus goes on to say that it is better for such a person (or dirtbag....the molestor) if he had a rock tied around his neck and were to be thrown into the deepest part of the sea. It's somewhere in the Bible, where Jesus talks about his deep love of little children. It's truly sickening to see how anyone can harm little children. It's great to know that we have the FBI watching out for us. I love watching shows where these profilers get pretty good insight into who the perpetrator is. My favorite one is where this FBI profiler has about a 20 minute interview with Chris Watts (you know, the guy in Colorado who killed his wife and two very young girls because he wanted to be with another woman...sick). He noticed that Chris somehow kept grabbing or scratching his neck. At the end of the interview, this profiler told one of the detectives for this particular district, that Chris strangled his daughters. That turned out to be true. Wow....that's amazing. ...all based on that subconscious gesture by Chris Watts grabbing or scratching his neck...what would likely seem to any "normal" person as...hey, his neck is just itching. I have immense respect for these guys in the FBI, and it's good to know they watch out for us.

What's interesting is how the LEO'S got it in their head to listen to Glasser, a woman. Female LEO's weren't common in the 90's & male LEO's listening to a female LEO was uncommon, but they were starting to get that women could handle police work too. It may not seem like much, but to a teenager at the time (me), it made me hopeful for the future.
