Hermann Prey was a very versatile singer and wonderful actor. In a Peter Alexander show (on my channel) one finds him at home in every style of music. He was the best Eisenstein I've heard and seen (in Die Fledermaus). I also love him as der Barbier von Sevilla.

Beautiful. I haven't seen much of Hermann Prey! Except his Papageno. Though the original Bill Shirley's English version still feels somewhat better.
