Dude hit 1/3 of his total career threes in one game. Legend
That is actually literally true😂
Curry: How I do that
Was this his first game of the year that he played
@@peteyblack8890 no he’s played a few
And a career high 24 lol jk
The fact he was there when D wade was a rookie is beautiful
Both class of 03
They were both rookies lol
@@winn305Not exactly. Haslem went undrafted but yeah they were both rookies together in 03

UD deserves this man. regardless of his lack of on court production he means a lot to the organization
I agree that he means a lot to the organisation but he should have been taken off the active roster and incorporate within the coaching staff or the front office or/and community outreach programme years ago. What all of the people here giving me grief for what I pointed out fail to realise is that he took up a roster spot for all of these years when he wasn't playing. I’m sure you can all realise that roster spot could have come in handy...
The man is damn near 50😂
he pushin 75 next month 😂😂😂
Loved watching his rookie season in 75
@@Si-ni1wk if that’s the case how come soo many NBA players stress the effect a vet like UD has on a locker room? These young teams in the NBA know how important it is to have a seasoned Vet to lean on.
Haslem, who turns 43 on June 9, has spent his entire NBA career with the Heat and currently holds the longest streak by any active player with only one team in the league. Haslem is only the third player to spend an entire NBA career lasting at least 20 seasons with one team. The others on that short list are Dirk Nowitzki (21 seasons with Dallas Mavericks) and Kobe Bryant (20 seasons with Los Angeles Lakers), and Haslem is the only one to do it in his hometown. He played high school ball for Miami High and attended the University of Florida. He went undrafted in the 2002 NBA draft and then signed as a free agent with the Miami Heat on August 6, 2003 and have been with the HEAT ever since.
Wow for his hometown too, thats truly amazing.
Hometown hero
mr. 305
With the NBA the way it is now he'll likely be the last player to do it too. I'm glad I got to witness it. I'm not a Heat fan but UD will be missed.
@@anthonyriche552 Curry has a chance to do it.
The man means so much to Miami. Don’t feeel the same without him and Wade there but hopefully we get him on the coaching staff immediately
I thought I saw something saying he was going to be in the front office. It might have been his pivot podcast appearance or an article. Not sure, but I did see it. I hope it true!
Nah he doesnt
@@burls7117 I thought it was minority team owner or something like that?
@Boxing Fan Haslem said multiple times that he’s not interested in being a full time coach. Although the last 6-7 years he’s been like an unofficial Heat player assistant coach
He's been a player/coach the last 5 seasons so his transition would be smooth. 😂
I grew up watching this man. He's played with d wade, shaq, bron, bosh and he's been a great piece of this team for two decades. What a legand. Still a baller. Love the fact that Wade showed his support.
He also played with Tyrone Hill who's now almost 60yo
Respect to your comment brother, I remember watching the heatles battle the pacers, nets and Celtics and UD was always the x factor. Gonna miss this legend. Man we're getting old to haha

This gave me chills.! He is the last of a dying breed. He will be greatly missed.

Today's generation won't fully understand how much of an impact Udonis had on this team, maybe even the league. Yeah, he didn't play much in his career but he was a voice in the locker room for younger players. That was enough. Incredibly grateful to witness UD40, and hopefully he'll end up being on Miami's coaching staff.

Real ones know how hard he played for the Heat. Thank you for everything OG... and DAMN what an alleyoop! 😂
Sure do.....he was clutch with his baseline jumpers. Anything the Heat needed him he was there in some compacity
@@therocksaysthis8821 yes sir absolutely. Several series back in 07-14 where his mid range jumper came up clutch. He played great defence on Dirk and Tim Duncan throughout the finals too. Retired jersey, 20 year career and undrafted. Rare
@@BisonOsteo Most definitely
I did know about his mid ranger jumper, but today he shot 3s seemingly comfortably and that fade away jumper looked smooth!!
It wouldve been nice to see him play in his prime in todays league.
I'm sure he practices his shot all the time despite not playing in the nba much prior to this last game.
Congrats to Haslem. Not only does he mean a lot to the Heat organization, but he also means a lot to the city of Miami. His toughness, leadership, and team spirit have left an amazing mark on their franchise. God be with him and his family in the next chapter of his life. He was showing them young dudes the way an OG does it.
Heat Legend! What a career for UD!
It's fucking wild how UD can change his game so late into his career that in his last game he is able to hit 3's and there's Ben Simmons that don't even try to attempt it. Shows how important UD was as a vet and how important it is to change your game to the modern era to keep up.
Udonis Bron and Iggy are damn near the last of the early 2000s style of play for hoopers. Udonis is helping close the book for that style of play i grew up on. Salute to the late 90s hoopers , Draft class of '03 and all the hoopers that inspired me and my friend in the 2000s -2012 before the torch was passed to the new generation of hoopers 🙌🏿💯 salute to the old heads!
The heart of Miami Heat
Not only 20 years with 1 team, but his actual home city as well. Definite Miami legend! 🔥🔥
True loyalty is what we all have witnessed over the years.. turning down more money offers from other teams at one point to spending 20 years with the same place it all started. hof career, great leader. Salute UD game high with the W last home game 🔥🔥couldn’t have wrote it any better.

Take a bow my man! Hope y'all have a great playoff run. UD
I grew up watching the Miami Heat especially in 2006 when D-Wade, Mourning, Shaq and UD won the 2006 Championship over the Mavs. Haslem stayed loyal to the Miami Heat for 20 seasons. Despite his lack of playing time and taking massive pay cuts to get better players around him that is a true player. I am glad he had a good final game. He won 3 chips with the Miami Heat for staying loyal. You rarely see that in todays day in age.
stoopid
So he got more in him. 💀
Thank You Udonis Haslem You Will Always Be A Miami Heat Legend And I Wish You The Best Enjoy Your Retirement.
I am three years younger than he is, but I feel old when I can remember rooting for Florida Gators against Michigan State in the 2000 National Championship game, and he was the best for his team, despite the loss. Still a head scratcher that he didn't get drafted after 4 years as a Gator, but a blessing in disguise gave him a great career in Miami. What a great way to end the season/career.
Better than Paul Pierce’s final game. So much loyalty here. Proud of this guy!
As a long time Heat fan, this is heartwarming AF.
Udanis you did it 🎉congratulations to him on a 20yr career
Not even a Heat fan but I'm gonna miss this dude. He's been in the league since I was a little kid and I respect his loyalty to Miami.
It’s nothing like a great performance in your last regular season game of your career. Thank you UD for 20 years of true professionalism🏀
Old man putting the work in 😤
This was so dope man!
The kids will never know what it was like to experience Haslem in real time!
Gave the Eastern Conference fits back in the day! Heat Legend! 🔥
the east was "soft"
One of the biggest legends of Miami and to me one of the most underrated players ever in his good years.
One of the most underrated players of all time. People forget what an integral part he played from 04-14. He was always the #1 post defender, rebounder, and a deceptive shooter. A perfect, hard-nosed, and loyal role player who was highly undervalued and fostered a tough, family environment in the locker room.
The dude only had 4 made threes in his whole career and he nails 3 in one game.
Salute to UD I had no idea he could get you 10 or more points but a 24 piece , what a ultimate performance
Alley oop and he hung on the rim with both knees up!!!! Unbelievable. That highlight can cure depression.
Still remember using him in 2K12 lol that midrange was butter especially from the side
Hell fucking yeah UD. Even his jumpshot is old school 💪🏽
