I used to think that too but the original lyrics were realized when the reissue came with a hard cover book that included an actual photo of the notepad that has the lyrics from when it was written. In Noel Gallagher's handwriting. Which you can see online today. Google the rolling stone article that shows the reissue with images of the hard book. It's not "I don't wanna". It's "and I wanna".
