Sahi kaha,,best explaination
Sha hi pkde hai
I think no lecturer can explain in such a beautiful manner❤
alright read this carefully see the slide at 10:39 here C has 3600 vote in two sections(2700 and 900)
2700= 1st preference is c then their 2nd preference is considered(if their 2nd preference is "d",who has been eliminated then 3rd preference is considered )
900=1st preference was d , 2nd preference was c,now their 3rd preference will b considered
Note:-always next "valid" preference will b considered, if next preference is eliminated then go to next
He should have also not taken complete preferences for all voters. There can be some voters who have only 1st preference. Just to show all possible aspects.
That is very good explanation. I was really stuck in this situation
Thanks for the much needed explanation.
So you're saying if 2700s second preference is d then we will consider third preference but what is 2700s second preference is a or b
Am just getting confused here
Can anyone pls elaborate?🙄🤔
The way of presenting topics is amazing and it is so easy to understand........we are waiting for next topic presentation, please be active its humbled request..... Really thanks for ur mind blowing explanation.👌

I used to struggle with transferable vote system and this video just cleared that confusion crystal clear. Thank you Sir
Also to be noted that the value of an MP's vote is substantially higher than that of an MLA. Very lucid explanation. Thank you

#TheBest
Thank u Sir for the simplicity of the lesson.. amazing indeed.
Man you have the best explanation ever. Never knew there is so much math behind a nominal head. 🙏🏽
Hey thanks man! Was struggling to understand the whole procedure. U elucidated so well.👍
None of channel on UA-cam help me comprehend such complex presidential election. But sir u covered it in very lucid manner to analyse such complex topic thankyou respected sir. Jai Hind.
Choosing 3rd preference always when it comes to "C" is wrong . Just for some time forget the preference order , U just need to understand that candidate C's votes go to the NEXT available preference.
For the 2,700 people who voted C as their first preference, their votes will got to their NEXT available preference ie the 2nd preference will be considered (if D is the 2nd preference then the 3rd preference will be considered as D is deleted).
For the 900 people who voted D as first, and then had their votes transferred to C (their 2nd preference), their votes will go to the their NEXT available preference which is 3rd .....HOPE IT HELPS !!
That's what I was thinking.
Absolutely my friend
Thanks, I got confused on that same issue!!
It was mentioned in video that only giving 1st preference is also valid. Is it really so?
wouldn't it make the vote non transferable when their 1st preference is eliminated. And possibly even withhold the votes from crossing the required threshold, made prior to the voting. I'm really confused.
exactly
After watching no. Of videos, came across yours video and it is one of the bestest explanation ever, thank you Very much sir for this.

Sir u r just amazing. U made us to understand the complex topics in simple practical way. Thank u so much sir. My gratitude for ur help will not end by saying this. 🙏🏻
Finally I understood it!!
Watched 2 videos before I came across this one... Very clearly explained!!
Sir you have missed something. That's the nominated member of legislative assembly of state doesn't participate too in the presidential election.
He said only elected members of
Parliament,SLA of states and UTS
Nominated members of legislative assembly (MLA's) will not participate in president elections.......
if in the case of bicameral legislature , both elected and nominated members of legislative council (MLC's) will participate in president elections......
Sir ur explaination is the best way to understand the presidential election I never understood after reading so many times in lakshmikant..now I understand very well! Thank you for ur lecture
thanks for making it very simple 😄
Best explanation ... The best youtube channel to clear your confusion ...Thank you so much sir .
what about those states which weren't built till 1971?
G.one. cool question yar
Even after 2 yrs nobody has Answer ur qsn...😉
Did u get the ans, now...??😜
I have the same question!
The new state carved out from older state. Population and constituency would have been also divided. So the vote value would also have been divided.
Population is counted on 1971 data as no of people which were living in present area of chhatisgarh at that time
Finally! The explanation i have been searching for thank you Sir ❤️
Why do they choose 3rd preference when coming to 'C' instead of 2nd preference.. is it correct when we do that practically.. ty
because the second preference is already added and in such case, the person who has been chosen as the second preference by most people would get a double advantage as those votes would be count twice instead of once
