He only has a chance if he can get rid of the crucible nerves and relax, if he can't calm down he has no chance, but he must believe in himself and try to play like he would in practise, now he got through that match he might start playing like he can.. Good luck Jack. 👏
Jak doesn't have crucible nerves , he loves playing there , what he needs to do is get his game back on point and continue to play his own game and not get sucked into a trump safety battle , honestly I see him practicing most weeks and half the shots he missed against Si he hammers home everyday of the week , I think it was more the fact he got into a non lose mindset in the third session rather than his usual attacking mindset

The session last night was painful to watch at times. Very little fluency. Very scrappy frames. If he plays like that against Trump he will get hammered.
Gutted for Si but hope Jak can go further in this event, because I kinda feel sorry for him in the sense that he got to the quarters last year but was completely overshadowed by Si, and I almost feel that for someone who played so good, he was forgotten about, and if he could make it to the one table setup, he could really prove himself and shine

Jones is too safety conscious thus become boring, never attempt a shot unless its more than 75% chance
Nahhh I believe both him and Si got into a mentality where they didn't want to lose , rather than the mentality that says I'm going to win , tbh his entire game changed against Si in sessions 2 and 3 , the way he played there isn't the way he plays on a day to day basis

Truth is Si is a much better player than Jones . If they replayed this match 100 times . Si wins this 100-0 . Trump will absolutely destroy him next round.
Do you not watch snooker ? They have played each other 3 times this season and Jak has won 2 of the 3 H2H matches , he's also beaten RoS this season
