About 100 Days My Prince (백일의 낭군님):
A political coup sees Lee Yul (D.O.) become a somewhat reluctant Crown Prince of Korea - after his uncle is disposed to make way on the throne for his father.
His father’s cruelty and the death of his mother have left him emotionally scarred, although most of the court think he is cold and aloof.
As part of his duties, he issues an edict that forces all of the throne’s subjects to marry before they turn 28.
One woman struggling to stay on the right side of the new law is villager Hong Shim (Nam Ji Hyun), a woman with a secret identity even she is not fully aware of.
Hong Shim works tirelessly in her village to support her ailing father. A bizarre twist of fate brings her together with the prince whose edict is burdening her so much, unaware that their paths have actually crossed once before…
While on his way to an official function, Lee Yul’s party is attacked in an ambush while passing through the village. His life is only saved by a quick-thinking official, who dresses the Crown Prince in peasant garb. Regardless, Lee Yul is struck by an arrow and hits his head, falling unconscious.
When he awakes, Lee Yul finds himself in Hong Shim’s house. Unaware of who he is, she and her father treat his wounds. The attack has left him with memory loss, and - taking him for an unmarried commoner - the villagers wonder if he could possibly marry Hong Shim, saving her from her predicament, unaware of his true identity.
Will anyone ever discover Lee Yul’s true identity? Will he ever regain his memory? Will Hong Shim and Lee Yul recall the time they met before these events, many years ago? And can a royal prince really find true love with a common villager?

He is, his acting skills are so impressive, I love him in this story.
The scene where Hing Shim walks away from the crown prince and cries in solitude but runs back to the prince so she can say a proper goodbye but her brother stops her. I just cried along with her there.

Unfortunately all these kdramas have treacherous court staff including family members. So it won’t be happy for long. Look how quickly the second son rose to power.
I totally agree….would have loved to see the father and the close neighbours in the palace with the palace food and wedding ceremony……we watch for so long and we don’t get to see much of the happy ending
What a well-written romance story! The prince was an ideal lover whose dedication has not changed since they were children. The girl was ordinary but a strong woman. Hat off to the writers and the acting crew! I actually hated every emperor drama with many concubines . I never found them romantic.
Definitely this drama deserves a award!!A real package!
I love this drama. Everyone's interpretation was actually really, really good, but D.O. put on a show apart. His micro facial expressions made me laugh and cry in equal measure. And what a beautiful voice...OMG.💘😭😂😍💕
And that takes skill. So glad he didn’t go for overacting. He played his role beautifully.
The female lead had to change to a softer character once she started to realize that there was more to this man than her condescending opinion of him.

Spoiler Alert. Ich fand diese Serie richtig gut. Mein Lieblingscharakter war der Bruder von Hongshim, Muyeon. Und ich habe geheult als er gestorben ist und ich habe auch danach noch getrauert. Mein Lieblingsszene war, als er die Geschichte von der Pusteblume erzählt hat. Ich mag diesen Schauspieler Kim Jae-Young. Ich habe ihn auch bei der Serie My Secret Romance gesehen und ich habe ich ihn schon damals gemocht. Ich hoffe, dass ich. Ihn in mehr Serien noch sehen würde. Weil ich dieses Kommentar auf Deutsch geschrieben hat, nehme ich an, dass fast niemand wird es lesen oder gar verstehen. Naja. Ich wolle nur, dass wenig oder gar keine meine Spoiler liest. Please cast Kim Jae-Young in more KDramas.
Finished..best drama series EVER..usually I get bored after 6 episodes..but couldn't skip any..so beautifully written and music and cast..laughed and cried with her in the scene with her brother(last time with him)😥..I wished it never ended..it was so 👍💝💝
I wish the writers would like the brother and the crown princess ride off into the sunset. After all they both were victims also.

Yea his death was so brutal but the crown princess stood as the witness to all her fathers crimes. For her to speak against him she should have valid reason but Hongshim brother didn’t have to die for that. And the scene where he is murdered that was just so horrific and unnecessary.
I want to cry 😭😭😭😭 it was awful I felt So bad for them 😭. Her brother had an awful life I wish he just got a happy ending. I just want to hug him poor guy.
But that's not as dramatic. I am just happy that after all she went through she got to live in peace and raise their child away from the controls of her father and the court. I would hope the I Seo would get to see her nephew sometime though.
but i really want to see crown princess dead....maybe after giving birth to child...because its okay to loving someone but why she was having baby of someone else....plus she almost kill crown prince...if she really care about baby then she should have killed her father....in my opinion she deserve worst that any of those other character

I have a love hate relationship with this show. It was soooooooo goooooood and great acting. It was beautiful, funny, cute, tragic, serious, and just memoriable. But its so sad and makes me want to cry 😭 I hate it because it was so good.
I like it very much. So sweet love story. The prince is a hero and a pacefullman. I cry a lot with the sad story of the brothers.
This movie deserve a award. I love it.
I wish there are more kdramas like this one. It reminded me of Yi San & Moon That Embraces The Sun---2 of my all-time favorites!
I just love historical dramas. Queen for 7 days is a very different take, bittersweet but good. I recommend it if you haven’t watched it yet 😏😏

I just finish watching this on Netflix and I really love it! All characters are awesome and all great Actors and Actress even extras! Directors and producers and also fashion everyone did a great job! Crown Prince love for her was amazing beautiful! There is times I do not believe in love but watching this and other Dramas think there is love that do exist. Every Chinese n Korea Drama I watch the men act As a crown prince, a king, and even General most their love shows example of how true love should be there’s times is true n other times not cause people has a different way of showing wats love is. Do kyungsoo that plays crown prince he awesome and great Actor great singer I also big fan of EXO. The Characters that plays group friends in villages like family is great to have those friends that you can trust that’s shows loyalty and be the one you can most count on. This Drama is beautiful, love, sad, loyalty, betrayal, sacrifice most of all happiness. I am such big fan! Wish to have autograph and meet all you guys just to shake your hands and pictures. Okay, I just finished watching this. I loved the show it was amazing, but this is how the show made me feel:
Two lovers rush towards each other despite the odds as we watch, cheering them on with tears at times.
They FINALLY reach each other and THIS happens:
Him: *Shrug* I don't really care anymore.
Her: *Shrug* Yeah me either, let's not get married.
Both go their own way, remember each other fondly at times, and forget.
Palace: Let's create a law that forces them to be together.
Him: How annoying, do we have to?
Her: Yeah, it's so annoying!
Him: Well I guess I like her after all
Her: Yeah I guess I do love him.
Him: Finally Proposes
Her:...
The audience: never gets an answer.
Is this a normal ending with most romantic K-dramas?
In my opinion her answer was yes, because if she didn't want to get married after he proposed they would've not kissed ta the end.
The kiss was always a “yes” throughout the movie:)

Exactly! This tore me up! Why did she never say “I love you too?” Or “I want to be with you forever!” He was always the one pursuing her and we never got the satisfaction from her that it was equally mutual. I mean, what gives? That ending was happy yes so why does it feel so weird? Lastly, I would have loved to see a wedding at least! Or flash fwd to life in the palace some time after 😭. I need resolution!! 😄

But they probably thought dragging it to out long kills the ending because those are things that are easily expected and end the audience will get disappointed because there is no suspense left so they probably thought it is best to leave the audience wanting more. And truly I just keep on wanting more
@@alissadaniel4761 100% agree. But there could have been other aspects to bring those cliffhanger elements which would build up the suspense. Like having everyone involved in that evil mans exile. or punishment for the king and queen as they were not innocent. We never got to see what happen to most of the other leaders who supported that evil man. Now we are left wanting more , without ever getting more. Maybe they will do a special episode.

I actually enjoyed the ML. He can say so much with his eyes and subtle facial expressions. To me, that takes skill.
A lot of Kdramas start out terrible and don’t settle down until a few episodes in.
This year, I haven’t found anything worth watching other than to just past the time.
The last good series I watched was Alchemy of Souls and U see the Queen’s Umbrella. Vicenzo and Crash Landing on You are probably my favorites.
So I rewatch better kdramas rather than watching the teen/young adult crazies that there seems to be an abundance for young viewers.

The acting of this show probably is one of the worst I seen. Lee Yool and Yoon yi-seo have no chemistry together, so their love story seems shallow and they are always bickering about something stupid 🙄. The supporting cast are uninteresting and silly. The director tried to make this into a comedy drama but the comedy was cringe and and not funny. Bad acting all around. I will rate it 1 out 5. The Crowned Clown was so good compared to this terrible show!
