Normally, In the States I'd have digestive issues. So when I went to Korea 2yrs ago I had forgot to pack Tums and I was so scared 😱 But turned out..I DIDN'T need them AT ALL! Eating Kimchi everyday and walking everywhere did my body internally & externally right!
I swear the food is just better in other countries than America. My digestive issues went away when I spent a week in Japan but the food is extremely fresh. When I came back to America, then all the problems started back again.

When one of my friends had her baby. We went to her house and I just thought that we were just going to say hello and drop off the baby gifts. Little did I know that her Korean mother had prepared a literal feast for us! I loved it! I literally ate as if I had never seen food before, which to the joy of her mother she only kept on giving us more. I delighted in eating no less than three different types of kimchi each one more delicious than the next. I insisted on cleaning up afterwards, to show how grateful I was for the beautiful meal. However, she can only put out more food. Such as a beautiful platter of fruit and a Korean dessert. Which I literally ate is if I had never seen food before. I can’t wait till she has another baby.lol
Keep living the life. You’ve got yourself a good man and family. Can’t get no better than that. My stomach is growling after watching that spectacular display of Korean dishes. Your mother in law has SKILLS. When you are open, loving, confident and carefree, it can open up barriers. Your in-laws will have your back. Along with the Amazing In-Laws, the next biggest flex in this is that Megan, an immigrant, works with one of the Korean ministries. This is inspirational for us immigrants, especially in countries that aren't as welcoming.

Incedentally, that first vegetable seems to be dandelion and the other one some kind of radish. You can eat dandelion greens out of your yard, if you don't put chemicals on it, up until the flower stalks form. After that it's a bit strong and it might...negatively affect your bowels.... I don't know of any wild radish greens where I live, but for radish greens in general, the rule would be the same as for dandelions.

It was funny because it illustrated your point that when viewed with the traits you preferred in a mate, the eligible pool in Korea was very small. 😄. All of the kimchi varieties look delicious. And the dongchimi is plated so elegantly.
