I don't think the "player" in his name has to deal with prayer or anything, I think it's because in his hands, the line between alive and dead is a mere PLAYTHING.
One of the hardest stages in the X series, and you made the track sound so Badass! (Excuse me language) But Seriously, Well done, renegade! Seriously, Despite this stage, Mega Man X6 isn't that Bad!
Oh, I feel X6 is pretty awful and honestly, this stage is the least of the game's problems. I feel it's one of the best stages in the game, conceptually, and the execution wasn't as bad as some of the others, music's also one of the best too.
+JinTekyta a game being hard doesn't make it awful. megaman 2 was hard and buggy but it's consider the best megaman game so people need to make up they're mind on what's a bad game or not
Keelerkumster Did I say X6 is bad because it's hard? X6 is bad because it has poor, lazy, inconsistent stage design, among other things. I'd argue there were a lot of bad decisions in Mega Man 2 too. That game is far from perfect and not actually very difficult, as far as I'm concerned, so your point kind of falls flat.
Inconsistent is good. Do you want every level to be blaze heatinex? It keeps you on your feet and is a challenge. I don't see anything lazy in the game so Idk where that came from.
Keelerkumster I think you're confusing what I mean by inconsistent. I don't mean "healthy variety." I mean the design of the game is internally inconsistent and contradictory. X6 ranges in difficulty from having some of the easiest bosses (Commander Yammark) and stages in the series, to some of the most annoying (Infinity Majinion). Levels range from pathetically short (Shield Sheldon) to those that overstay their welcome. (Rainy Turtleloid and Metal Shark Player) Also, you don't consider Blaze Heatnix's stage lazy? Fighting the same miniboss 5 times in a row with no rhyme or reason as to why isn't lazy stage design? Or Ground Scaravich's stage that just has randomly generated areas with enemies and obstacles haphazardly placed? The Nightmare enemy itself is the essence of lazy design because their design allowed the developers to just copy past them recklessly in every level without any thought behind the formation. They move through walls, shoot though walls and are ultimately unaffected by any level geometry. Lazy.
It's ture that X6 is poorly put together, but Metal Shark Prayer's stage is one of its saving graces. It's the kind of ball-breaking hard that Capcom should have been aiming for. There aren't any cheap shots here; if you die, it's because you weren't keeping a lookout on the trash compactor. And the second part of the stage, with the conveyor belt added in...Nuts. Oh, and the music is good too.
***** I'm gonna feel bad for ya' if the Mega Man X Corrupted fan game turns out to be really good, thus shattering that perspective into a million pieces.
That bass.
Those horns.
Those claps.
I've been waiting forever for this remix and Renegade did not disappoint!
I'm dying here
Someone make a PRAYER for my soul...
did I do that right?
I'm in agreement. This is probably one of my favorite tracks in this particular game, and this genesis mix does wonders.

I love that sound effect in the beginning that sounds like something getting crushed. A+ remix.
Blaze Heatnix's remix is going to be insane
PunkDisciple23 Well, he hasn't done blaze heatnix yet.
Well, damn.
Pretty old comment you're replying to anyway

Also: Terminator feel preserved.
My feels. My feels are going CRAZY right now!
This game is awfully put together, but I love it anyway.
I think I made peace with X6 when I treated it as a Hard Mode Fan Hack and less as an Official Canon-stomp Bugfest.

Dat trash compactor forcing me to slow down. The rush it gave was great. xD

When X5 coming?
LoR did X1 & X5 years ago, and will probably return to them later. I'm guessing either after X8 or after Z4...
