This really resonates with me. I was blessed with my daughter in 2001. She turned out to quite strong and athletic and we got her into gymnastics. I am a weak scrawny guy but she inspired me to get stronger. And through a lot of calisthenics training I put on 20lbs and got a lot stronger look better and I hope a more capable dad. My daughter and late wife (passed away in 2021) have made me a much better person. My daughter graduated college this year but my lifestyle is inspired by her.
I became a dad in 2015 and it's been one of the most challenging, but hands down the most rewarding part of my life. On the topic of picking your child up, I highly recommend looking up baby wearing. My wife got into the woven wraps which were great, but those have a bit of a learning curve. I would recommend getting a soft structured carrier first. (I found the Kinderpack to be the most comfortable of all the brands we tried in the baby wearing group we were a part of) Having the carrier allows you to carry them easier, but also allows you to do things you couldn't if you were holding them with your arms. I could go shopping with my daughter in the carrier and it allowed me to push a shopping cart and grab groceries. It was also a life saver with air travel. It really does make things much easier and it's bonding with your child at the same time. I can't recommend it enough.
Why did I watch the video all the way through when I won't be having kids, you ask? To see how the other half lives. To see if there was anything I could take away from it. And there was. "Because". Not "because" of kids, but because of me. I wanted to do all those things for me. Some says that's selfish. They can be wrong if they like. Self-improvement and self-bettering without becoming a self-absorbed jerk are perfectly legitimate activities, and without the added responsibility of kids is much more easily accomplished. Just having the "because" stated like that has given me new motivation. Thanks!! BTW, the hair is looking great. We're at about the same length. Really loving it.
I'm 53, not a father as never met "The one" to settle with and have children but I watched to the end because I like your channel 🙌 2 vlogs in a row where you haven't gave us a "I'm not a robot" comment is unacceptable! Here is one, "Crepey skin Elephant" 🐘 Joking aside, I'm glad that you're enjoying fatherhood, embracing it and doing everything you can think of to raise your child the best way you can, Kudos. Regards, Richy 😀🙌
Not sure if this was your first video not talkin about hair but it was a great start. You are wise beyond your years, as a dad for 14 years myself, you have mentioned stuff that I never even thought about. Great start keep the videos coming but don't forget to do some fashion videos too. And if course hair tips are always welcomed!
Love this. My daughter is 1 year older than yours. Definitely mindful of the fleeting moments, like bottle feedings, helping her go potty, and even diaper changes. Totally understand if the video stats don't warrant continuing, but I'm glad you're branching out.
I noticed in the thumbnail you can see a little of your daughter's scalp through her hair. Does she have male pattern baldness? What age is old enough to start dutasteride?
Where are my NEW DADS at?
Do I have to be a dad to like this comment

This has to be a joke 😭

Children are not my thing.
