I'm a huge Em fan but I don't think Revival is a classic like some people say, but I'm also not on the side saying the album is trash. It's not by any means and compared to Em's caliber of music and his catalog? Yeah it's not in the top at all. But overall out of the 19 songs I liked 11, the other 8 were ok to me. The problem with the album is how it sounds sonically man, like it's just weird. Some beats in those songs with his flow sound so off and out of place. There isn't really any song apart from a few that you want to listen to back to back over and over. Some songs just sound so bad, like honestly it makes you skip it (chloraseptic the one in the album I can't listen to it). With that being said I personally gave the album a 6.8 out of 10, and more like 7 out of 10 cause I'm a fan of Em. But I do think after listening to this remix and what he said in his verse. There might be a 2nd album coming and it won't be filled with Pop features. If it's the same energy as this track and verse? It sounds more like a straight Rap album with Rap features on it. Which I'm honestly hoping cause that's what I want to hear 😍.
You need to look up shadowboxing and syncopation. Idk if you know anything about music as in beats per measure and all that techincal stuff you should know is you are a musician then look up what Rick Rubin says about Eminem's flow and you'll see eminem has the most intricate on point flows. I know the average hip hop listener isn't also a percussionist or something but when you learn that and many other aspects of the work Eminem does he's absolute musical insanity on a level above anybody else simply because he has an obsession with it.
