    It's me again. While I put the tire pattern back onto the circle surface, the tire pattern appeared inside the circle surface. What should I do to reverse them to the right direction? Thank you,.

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  3 роки тому +1

      the is the direction issue. you can click on different corner at target surface

  • @ilarioMi

    Thank you Very much PJ for this tutorial.
    Why did you tapered 1 end of the tyre pattern before transferring it to the ring?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  5 років тому +2

      I tapper the thickness. so the middle part will be thicker and both sides will be thinner. that way it will be more comfortable to wear.

    老師您好,我遇到的問題是,在點選建立uv curve後,只有出現四分之一的曲面,要如何修正?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  3 роки тому +1

      if your curve can be exploded. they are not single curve. You can rebuild your curve before sweep. so they will be single surface for Create UV Curve

    At the end of this film, I didn't see the merge(boolean) about the pre-made surface and the tire tread pattern. If I want to 3D print them, shall I boolean them? And at 15:37, the red circle at right-up screen, what did it mean?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  3 роки тому

      If you want to 3D print the model. you need to make sure all the parts are closed polysurface and boolean union it.

  • @arr84.design

    PJ... i really hate that flow along surface command. I never obtain the same results. I did all the sam way as you and at the moment to flow...the Parts flow along the top of the surface of the ring but it continues to inside the ring! It doesn’t flow only on the top of the ring’s surface like yours... :(((

    Hello PJchen, I’m your student, may I ask a question, why our curve fillet is always fail ? Even I followed you sept by sept, what is the reason? Thanks for your lessons !

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  3 роки тому +2

      You may want to check your unit first. Fillet has issue when the fillet radius is larger than the curve length you are going to fillet.
