The last duel showcased the true power of SP little knight into promethian princess. Of course both are going to be busted together and incredibly expensive. The waifu tax is strong here.
Konami quite literally fucked every player making that mayakashi trap and that includes mayakashi players too. One of the worst ideas they've ever had in yugioh history and i really hope they ban that card eventually (as a maya fan)
@@BlackBeartic229 The worst part is the second affect is amazing. Being able to return a banished zombie is a great enough effect (maybe just do that twice) why tac on a flood gate in an archetype that's only other floodgate is lore relevant?
Really love the flavour of the "Ghost Meets Girl" thing and it did initially make me want to try and build both decks or a hybrid deck, but after seeing the way Konami decided to support the archetypes I just lost interest. Neither decks were supposed to be about floodgating the opponent at all, or at least previously.
@@JABRIEL251 Truly jarring design choice because neither archetype can play under the floodgate (i guess Mayakashi can if their GY is loaded when it gets flipped on them). Like if we wanted a more lore accurate flood that doesn't literally turn skip look at the new Link 4 Ritual Beast.
@@BlackBeartic229 That's what's funny. Yuki-Musume's mega evolution has a floodgate, but it's a pretty niche one like the Ritual Beast's Link 4, so no one has a problem with it. And the trap makes sense, in that, by the time you flip it you can only summon from gy or banished which is where Mayakashi and Shiranui want their respective monsters. However, it doesn't fit with the spirit of the decks, because they aren't floodgate decks, so giving them a random floodgate feels like a lack of imagination...which makes the second effect all the more irritating, because it actually understands what the deck needs, so why Konami couldn't just make the first effect fit is baffling.

Yeah, Transaction Rollback was probably a mistake and as a Mayakashi fan, Ghost Meets Girl - A Masterful Mayakashi Shiranui Saga makes me feel unclean
