I guess this explains why "Nobody Knows" about this song in the US. Duran Fan since early 80's.

I think part of the issue here is that the average person (in the US) does not even realize Duran Duran is still a band right now. They have no clue that band put out fantastic singles the last 20 years - such as "What happens tomorrow", "Pressure Off", and "Falling Down". We were at their concert at Forest Hills Stadium this past Friday and were at the younger end of the audience despite not being particularly young. Mainstream narratives can be quite a challenge for artists that rose to prominence in yesteryear. When gatekeepers constantly limit their commentary about an artist/band to the distant past, it is impossible for the the music-consuming to look at a band beyond that overplayed commentary. "Nobody Knows" is a vocal highlight for Simon Lebon. It sounds hauntingly beautiful.

I was actually born with depression, major depression and anxiety and I knew as a young child that when I would sing or listen to music that it would comfort me. Some music gets better but some music upsets me, I guess it’s my coping skills that I grew up with!
