From what we know about the Aeons, there is no authority to be taken. Given how the Stonehearts are an extension of the Preservation, and what we know about the previous "war among the Aeons" (the Swarm Disaster and Rubert's War), it is more likely their preparation involves trying to prevent major catastrophic losses that the universe will mostly likely suffer due to the Aeons' clash.
They planning to pull wars amongst Aeons so that they can gain more profit. More planets being annihilated, they will come to save you as saviours. They "saving" these poor planets that's on war or chaos so they can gain profits. That's what IPC are

The reason it's 4v4 is because Opal didn't vote yet and Aventurine CAN'T vote. They're voting to decide if they should kick Aventurine out or not, Aventurine will of course not be able to vote on that matter, which is why there are only 8 votes before Opal. It's also pretty confusing who's meant to be the leader after Diamond, since it was mentioned Jade was representing Diamond when Aventurine met with her, but Opal seems to be leading in this trailer (maybe because he might be the next one we meet?), and Pearl is also the one speaking for the ones who are not speaking as if she is in a higher position. Edit: Just rewatched the video, Pearl was appointed by Diamond as chair for Aventurine's punishment, so that's probably why she's speaking for the silent/neutral Stonehearts.

I won't lie: the idea of a Gem themed group is very imaginative. I think a theme like that would have been great for Avatar. Imagine Earthbenders that each pick a specific Gem.

Miss vampire gives me major Fate's Elizabeth Bathory/Baobhan Sith vibes, and I have been saying I wanted a vamp character that was either Phys Nihility/Abundance where they play around with the bleed proc. It's kinda funny that people are kinda forgetting that this is only one department of the IPC, kinda excited to see if the Board Members and the Fouding Fathers of the IPC will be playable or will be NPC coded.
It's a bit odd to me that they really do feel like a Fatui parallel, but they also feel much, much less prominent in Star Rail than the Fatui are in Genshin. They're important, but they're not particularly focal, which feels like there being nearly as many of them as there are Harbingers might be excessive. So many of them are going to be wasted, as there's no chance they'll all get even a third as much attention as Aventurine did... and if they do, it feels like they SHOULD be more prominent by now.

He only uses people as tools to gain more, including knowledge. Vampire Mommy Obsidian: Long, the Permanence. Vampires have some similarities to the Vidyadhara with their long lifes and regaining lifes in ways, the exile of the Vidyadhara for example and Vampires have to drink blood to live. Topaz & Numby: Lan, the Hunt. She hunts down debt and ofc Numby hunts on chests in game xD Jade: Ourobouros, the Voracity. I mean, have you seen her ult animation?? XD Chinese Stonheart Agate: Yaoshi, the Abundance. Since they might be ‘dead’ and the Chinese vibe, i think this might be a Jiangshi like Qiqi from GI, which a second life would seem as the blessing of the Abundance. Intellitron Pearl: Xipe, the Harmony. Even as an intellitron she acts with her heart, much like Robin, a close Harmony follower, does. Aventurine: Mythus, the Enigmata. He truly doesn’t know what will happen and still chooses to trust it, the concept of unknowimngness is what Mythus stands for as THEY oppose the Erudition. Rich Guy Sugilite: (This us the only one I don’t know :/) Griffin Sapphire: Idrila, the Beauty. They talk about his oath, plus the European mythology vibes make me think he’s somewhat a Knight… of Beauty perhaps. Computer Girl Amber: HooH, the Equilibrium. They vote for balance and are quite mysterious, perhaps she wants balance in the entire universe.
I have almost the same exact tastes as mina, so im super excited for Obsidian (The girl in the pool of blood), she can bite me anyday of the week, at any hour. I am as excited for the little boy because if hes playable, he is the first shota model in any hoyo game released after Impact 3rd. tons of loli's but not a single shota. Obsidian, Sapphire, and Diamond look the most interesting to me. A "Vampire", Knight, and a yet as unkown leader. I could see some conflict between a "Vampire and Knight" situation.

It's a bit odd to me that they really do feel like a Fatui parallel, but they also feel much, much less prominent in Star Rail than the Fatui are in Genshin. They're important, but they're not particularly focal, which feels like there being nearly as many of them as there are Harbingers might be excessive. So many of them are going to be wasted, as there's no chance they'll all get even a third as much attention as Aventurine did... and if they do, it feels like they SHOULD be more prominent by now.

I have a funny theory of all the stonehearts representing an aeon, since none of them are really preserving anything it seems
Boss Baby Opal: Nous, the Erudition. He only uses people as tools to gain more, including knowledge.
Vampire Mommy Obsidian: Long, the Permanence. Vampires have some similarities to the Vidyadhara with their long lifes and regaining lifes in ways, the exile of the Vidyadhara for example and Vampires have to drink blood to live.
Topaz & Numby: Lan, the Hunt. She hunts down debt and ofc Numby hunts on chests in game xD
Jade: Ourobouros, the Voracity. I mean, have you seen her ult animation?? XD
Chinese Stonheart Agate: Yaoshi, the Abundance. Since they might be ‘dead’ and the Chinese vibe, i think this might be a Jiangshi like Qiqi from GI, which a second life would seem as the blessing of the Abundance.
Intellitron Pearl: Xipe, the Harmony. Even as an intellitron she acts with her heart, much like Robin, a close Harmony follower, does.
Aventurine: Mythus, the Enigmata. He truly doesn’t know what will happen and still chooses to trust it, the concept of unknowimngness is what Mythus stands for as THEY oppose the Erudition.
Rich Guy Sugilite: (This us the only one I don’t know :/)
Griffin Sapphire: Idrila, the Beauty. They talk about his oath, plus the European mythology vibes make me think he’s somewhat a Knight… of Beauty perhaps.
Computer Girl Amber: HooH, the Equilibrium. They vote for balance and are quite mysterious, perhaps she wants balance in the entire universe.
The Stone hearts are basically The Harbinger but more powerful.

I am as excited for the little boy because if hes playable, he is the first shota model in any hoyo game released after Impact 3rd. tons of loli's but not a single shota.
