Not to mention all the cards that do random weird shit like swapping your opponent's cards, destroying cards in your opponent's deck, or disguising you as another class.
The "How Does It Work?" Segment: It's spaghetti from a number of checks that individually make sense: Enemy has 2 1-health minions, CD gets cast twice: 1st cast: Kill both minions, 5+5 damage goes face 2nd cast: No minions preset (they died), no bolts fire, no damage goes face. Enemy has a 3 health, 3 health, and 7 health minion: 1st cast: Kill minion A+B (3+3=6 gets added to the "excess damage" counter, then goes face for 6), minion C takes 6. 2nd cast: 1 minion present @ 1 health, so 5 damage gets added to the "excess damage" counter, goes face for "Excess Counter" which is now 6+5 = 11. Total 17 damage (6 + 11) Enemy has 6 2-health minions: 1st cast: ABC die, 4+4+4=12 adds to the counter, goes face for 12. 2nd cast: DEF die, 4+4+4=12 more gets added to the counter, (12+12) goes face. Takeaway for abuse: in order for the excess damage for the 1st cast to be applied a 2nd time, a minion needs to survive the 1st cast. Standard Hearthstone seems like such a joke now. Mana seems meaningless, you can be one shot from 50 HP with a 2 card combo and there seems to now be 2 deck archetypes instead of 8.

Everything is ridiculous, everything is overpowered to shit, you can't play around anything or plan for anything, because everything is random and nothing is balanced - it's just pure chaos. That's actually true. Unless you play decks like pirates, everything else is either 1-turn combos or extremely RNG based. Hearthstone is only fun if you don't care about winning and are just playing to kill some time. It's great for casual play, terrible for competitive.

I just can't put myself to try this game anymore. I know 99% of all my money I put into it is now completely useless, as undoubtfully all those legendaries are unusable now almost four years later.. Not to mention I seem to have no idea about any game mechanics anymore either.
