Shadow of the Erdtree is an expansion to ELDEN RING, the 2022 Game of the Year. Dark and intense, Shadow of the Erdtree has players continue their quest with the freedom to explore and experience the adventure at their own pace.
The Realm of Shadow has been kept apart from the Lands Between since its creation. Now, in pursuit of Miquella, the Tarnished are among the first souls to set foot here in unknown ages. Traverse new open field areas to reach dense new legacy dungeons full of hazards and undiscovered mysteries.
You aren’t the only one tracking Miquella through the Realm of Shadow, and as you press deeper and deeper into the mystery, you’ll find a complex interplay of personalities and motivations to navigate, giving you new insight into Miquella’s history and Marika’s hidden past.

Pally, you may have considered this already in your build planning, BUT the Carian Regal Scepter will start out-scaling the Meteorite Staff around +5/6. You can then get the Gravity Sorcery boost from the Meteorite Staff along with the better scaling of the CRS if you wield both, but cast with the Scepter. The CRS comes from turning in the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen at the Finger Reader (by the Two Fingers) in the Roundtable Hold and requires Sombers to upgrade.
Fun Trick: use Mogh shackles (or margit) and that will trigger the pillars to destroys those chariots
So, the thing about Crystalians (blue crystal guys).
The are very weak to bludgeoning damage.
Also they have almost infinite poise until you break their stance once.
After that they're cracked, literally, and will stagger from almost anything. Bully to your hearts content.

Morgot's or Mohg's shackles massive aoe counts as attacks for moving the pillars to kill all the chariots, you can activate the shackle's almost anywhere in the dungeon once you go down the elevator entrance
Fun fact, Pally: The magic bullshit slam attack from Ordovis is ALSO parryable.
The roll into the pillar and getting hit with the laser beam had me rolling :)

I'm sure chat explained, but just in case. The crystallians have infinite stagger resistance until you break their poise. Afterward, they have basically none.
The first one you fought, you poise broke before you realized they were staggerable. These you hadn't poise broken yet, so that's why they didn't infinitely stagger until the end of the fight.
The jellyfish anecdote cracked me up.
I have seen nothing cooler from this game until I watched Pally fighting two bosses at once, parrying one to get iFrames, then timing it perfectly to parry the second boss, get iFrames, and repeat like 5 times

Just a heads up meteor is a channeled spell not a charged so Godfrey’s icon doesn’t help it

ive done only one heros grave my entire elden ring career. f those places. just like i've fought only one rune bear. f those things.
The trick with rune bears and funnily enough the ulcerated tree spirits is to stay as close as possible to them, if you stick to them they really struggle to hit you.

@@Klevermoregames stick to the rune bears hips, you only really need to dodge/roll if they stand up. Ulcerated tree spirits stick to their belly, you have more dodging to do then with the rune bear but you don’t have to deal with as many of the lightning fast lunges/grabs that they use when you’re at range.
