It's so true though. UA-cam makes the knowledge accessible and from there I get info on where I can get books and read studies on metabolism etc. It is annoying when your doc gives the normal eye roll if you say the "Y" word. Where else must we get info when it's not in industry's interest to promote a proper human diet?

I am so impressed with these Carnivore Drs who continue to follow the 10 Minute Appointment Schedule to appease the Rules and Regulations but find a way via YT or Personal Websites to fill in the gaps left by the Regs so they can actually HELP their Patients. The Character this reveals of these Drs says so much.

I live in Mexico (retired). So many of my Mexican friends and acquaintances are addicted to tortillas and full sugar Mexican Coca-Cola. The corn for the tortillas is probably GMO and the coke … I don’t even need to comment on! There’s a terrible obesity problem, which is even worse with children and the under 30’s. We all love tacos, but not 4-6 every single day! Then there’s the highly processed junk foods and canola oil which is what most people use - and all the restaurants. It’s like all things, lack of information and education. But it’s also very much cemented in the culture! I will make a note of this doctors website and pass it along when I can. Buena suerte, Doctor, difundiendo la palabra.❤🇲🇽

I can't imagine not eating a steak with a big chunk of butter everyday. I have no desire for grains or veggies anymore. I love my bacon, my steak and my butter. I do splurge and fix carnivore waffles and top with whipped cream and MORE butter when the urge hits me. But I am NOT suffering!

He is not the answer, because of his track record etc. Democrat, Independent, Trumpis - all in ONE election cycle! Half of the coming regime is trying to remove all regulations to help the corporations that pay them (oil v environment, etc), others wanting to ADD/change regulations. I think it would’ve been easier on my body had I not gone all in. I still like the “all in” approach better as I can’t imagine doing it slowly, but there are sometimes problems depending on your health condition.

It’s all got to do with our evolution Dave , we are the only species that cooks our food ? What does that mean from an evolutionary advantage ? Well it increases the rate of absorption, we digest our food more efficiently and we don’t need strong jaws to chew allowing the release of pressure on our skulls by not needing these strong jaw muscles to chew. Additionally the extra nutrients from cooking meat and fat the brain develops . But there is more Dave if you want to know ?
