I’ve just ordered this tank today it’s going to be my first reef tank I’m soaking up all the information I can. Nice video thanks you’re time and effort. The useful information 👍🏻
gary brown thanks for your message mate and thanks for the support following the channel 👍 exciting times on the first tank pal, you’ve picked a great first tank to start with, I’ve found the bigger tank far easier to keep stable than the 170 I originally had 👍 let us know how you get on and if you’d like anything incorporated into the videos to help just let me know 👍
Thank you mate it's great to see the famous Nathan Willard following :-) going to be a long term job this one that I can see evolving over the next 4-5 yearsso thought it would be as good a time as any to start doing something proper so I can look back myself at it's progression :-) Thanks for all the help and advice so far mate how's your tank going?
I appreciate the review and progress of your Rea Sea Reefer 425XL. Great channel! What steered you to the 425 XL and if money was no object would you stay with the 425 Reefer or go with the Max-S 500. I will be purchasing one of those tanks in the near future and can't make up my mind. I do like the vol of the 500 but like the sump of the 425. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gary
Mossback thanks for your message buddy 👍 appreciate you following the channel 😊 I went for the 425 as I had room for a 4 foot tank but I also like the sump. Do the Max S500’s have the sump in the back? For me I’d always go for a cabinet sump rather than a rear sump as they’re far easier to keep clean and do maintenance in my opinion pal 👍 I know that the next long term tank I have will be a 1000 litre plus so the 425 was a great middle tank for me 👍
Mohammad alwaldi apologies for some reason I can’t reply to your comment, must be a glitch. These are the maxspect xf230 gyres with the controller buddy. The flow you get out of them is decent but I like the look of the new gyres with the flow deflectors, they’re also apparantly quieter whereas these have a gentle hum, hope that helps buddy
Hi I'm new to the field I have a new Red C425 aquarium and I want to start a cycle with this material How to work with it if you can help starter kit reef mature
