Tbh, nung nagbibigay ng example si kots about llovelife di ako makarelate. Now broken hearted nag set ng example using love life, tumagos sa puso as the same time naalala ko nang maayos.

    Salamat, po..
May tanong po ako. The words "fun" and "real" have one syllable. Why do we say "more fun", "more real", "the most fun," and "the most real? "
God bless you and your team.. 🙏

Hi! This is a very interesting question given that it's part of the Philippines' tag-line "It's more fun in the Philippines"
Vocabulary is more contextual, and you should know that cases you've mentioned have nothing to do with the aforementioned rules in this video. Sa kaso ng salitang "fun," hindi ito tinatanggap na adjective sa English standard. It is considered more as a noun than an adjective. It is a noun word referring to pleasure and enjoyment (e.g. Fun is something we should be doing right now). However, the word evolved into an adjective in the 1900s but considered an informal one. Nonetheless, it is being suggested that you follow the rule if you use it as an adjective (funner and funnest). With that being said, "It's more fun in the Philippines" is actually grammatically incorrect. Well, it was an advertisement, so who cares? Business is business.
For the case of real, it's actually quite simple. In REALITY there is no such thing as "more real". Either it is "real" or "not real" ONLY. Again, it is the context. There are situations or scenarios that a person is confused about which is real, but at the end of the day, there is only ONE REAL of whatever it is. Meaning, the word "real" is an adjective word without a comparative form for a reason that it is only ONE by its nature. In conclusion, "More real" is an informal use of the adjective "real".
Honestly, in my experience of reading, adjective-words are the shadiest to deal with in learning vocabularies.
      You can learn everything.
      Hope this helps.
