Britain has so much history to it, and for me these builds have been a big part of my journey in both the Bushcraft world and the history of Britain. Being able to use natural materials and skills that my ancestors would have used hundreds of years ago brings me a real sense of belonging. I hope that this video helps to inspire you to get outside, learn new skills and get involved in the world of nature. Please share with your friends if you enjoyed it! New video next week. Cheers - Mike
Thankyou for inspiring me to start my channel, was watching when you were still teaching. Also over on taf you and your Dad have such a special bond one which i wish i had with my step Dad but thankyou for sharing that bond it's being a great help for building my own bond with my children. You and your Dad should be so proud not only of the channels but the amazing people you both are.
Good lord, man. This channel has some of the most extravagant bushcraft builds I've ever seen. It's like what real people would have done back then building villages.
They exist everywhere but are hard to find as many are on either people's property or simply parts of the wilderness people simply just choose not to go because they don't think anything is there - the perfect spot
As a hunter and fisherman here in the U.S. I can imagine how in tune a person could become with nature after spending so much solitude and peacefulness in the outdoors. You would become so familiar with the sounds, sights and smells of your surroundings that when one little item is off, it would shake you somehow. Excellent work gentleman!!! Thank you for the peacefulness of this clip.
@@eddiemoore he more than likely already had this land & you’re a hater dude. why did you subscribe in the first place if you didn’t want to support the growth and success of this channel?

All I can say is wow!...I love anything to do with nature and camping, anyone else feel like building a village like this and get away from technology taking back our freedom and learning to live with nature again,I for one could happily do it right now!...anyone up for building off grid?..😁...no joke anyone tired of paying Bill's just to live nowadays, life is for living free not tied down by your job 9 to 5 everyday...get out there and start really living!...peace, love, light and respect to you all!....stay strong....stay positive always...and protect your loved ones..be PREPARED AT ALL TIMES!..🙂✌❤🤜
Great showing of all three of these incredible builds! I know that I for one loved to see the step by step process that went into their being in the world. You have put in a massive amount of time and effort to bring us this footage. I cant wait to see what you will create next!! You always have amazing footage and I really enjoy the content! Keep up the good work... I can't wait for your next video!!
My grandfather knew all the old methods of building and farming. I watch him many times as a child use those hand tools. Watching you reminds me so much of him.
Gosh this video must have been a huge undertaking. The bond you and your father have is awesome. My grandfather has been ill for many years now, but I used to spend hours in his workshop learning how to use his wood-working tools, watch him rebuild engines, and listen to his stories. I’m really curious how you plan these builds. Do you plan out what each days work will consist of and/or draw detailed mock-ups? Love your videos
The same with me and my grandfather. I've seen him hand planning lumber, split logs using wedges and peg joints. I spent endless hours trailing along as he worked around the farm.
Didn’t do any drawing mock-ups for these. Had the ideas in my head, and had some discussions with my Dad and Dustin and together we just planned for each day what we would try and get done.
There just something awesome about getting a few friends together and going out into the forest and putting the work in to constructing stuff like this I love it 💯
What an awesome piece of work sir. Thank you for delving into the history of house building. It also must be so rewarding for you to be working right along side your Dad, who I must say is not a stranger to getting his hands dirty. KEEP UP THE FANTASTIC WORK Cheers Bill
I'm betting you guys are all master carpenter's and you work on 🎥 movie sets. And all the other carpenter's are in such aw of you. That or they hate you. Truly gifted crafts men. I'm so blown away by your talents. Magnificent. Thank you.
I dont know what I enjoyed more of... watching the compiled version of all those builds I've watched weekly for the last three years or was it all those good meals that were prepared during those episodes? The Helicopter Shank was still one of my most favorite dinner segments!
well It might be one of the hardest edits but you know also very relaxing mucho needed in this continuing struggle times your dad so chilled he even needed a lie down lol
Coming home and watching your videos really helps a ton with my anxiety. Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into your channel, your videos do wonders for busy fellas like me🙏🏻
Respect! I love watching the this video, the sound of the nature, in building the log house, the Bush crafts, and your knowledge and the carpentry skills in using the materials from the nature. The cooking food outdoor, the skills to of course to be able to start the fire, making the mud to create stability to the walls and to keep the room warm from cold and stay out of the rains. The survival skills that you two have, you could be proud of yourself for not losing the house to stay in the nature for appreciating more mother nature surround us. Great editing skills and thank you for including all the soothing sounds of the nature. Totally amazing and inspiring. A great escape from the city life, all the nonsense, all the stress with people who treat others not nicely, but here in the nature teach each other to live with respect in having what we value the most. The warmth from the log fire, hearing the sound of the fireplace have been soothing healing in our souls. Thank you for the little minds of the escape time through watching your precious film of your big project with father and the son in 2021. The rest of the world have been striving with the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic viruses since January 2020, and here you both are doing meaningful life project in now 2021 for completing the log house within some days in realizing all these cozy place. I see, the only the windows like the source of light could have some improvements and to have the options to "be able to change the room's air". I don't know technically how such improvements can be made by using the materials from the mother nature surround us. I really enjoyed watching you both in actions. 🎬 Oh yes, thanks for film taking camera men, and I believe the two wives must have been recording this videos. Or? Was it the only men's action project stuffs? 😍❤👍
This is totally awesome guys. It's a helluva lot more work to do this by hand than people think. Manual labor, basic hand tools, and some basic knowledge goes a long ways.

Why do you burn the ends of the logs like that?😀
