I think he may be a good teacher bc in Germany everyone is really grateful when someone tries to speak in german and wants them to feel successful in german. We try to use as simple words as possible and spreak as clear as possible so everyone can simply understand and isn't overwhelmed by the words...so maybe that's part of why Nick's seems like a good teacher ...

Oh my goodness i just had flashbacks to the first year of learning german at high school. And i'm like.. Happy and sad at the same time because those years were so precious to me. A little story time lol, i used to learn german for three years at high scool and i loved it so much. I love how my teacher made german, that is known for being one the hardest language in the world, fun. We listen to music a lot, we sing a lot, we danced, we watched videos and movies. She basically made us to not be afraid to learn and made us love the country too instead. Not to forget those german competitions and festivals that we participated. Even though it was not easy at all and i already forgot most of what i have learned but i enjoyed every lesson. Thank you Nik for doing a good job and reminding me of my teacher 😭😭😭😭❤
Wow this was really nice. I as a German was also really really surprised by Brian’s Pronunciation in the beginning. It was really really good. There aren’t many people who are as good in the beginning. At the end when he did the TMI news thing it was ofc a bit more so you could see that he was struggling a bit but He surprisingly got everything that most people get wring in the beginning, very correct. 👍 Brian is good at this.

As a Dutch myday, this whole video is a blessing!! (no, German and Dutch are NOT the same language _at all_ , but they have many similar sounds. For example, hearing the teacher explain the 'kh' sound from 'Nacht' and then hearing YoungK _nailing_ it was really amazing and also satisfying as the Dutch 'g' is very similar, sometimes even the same, as that, and one of the hardest things for any non-Dutch speaker to pronounce.) Really, this whole video just makes me so much more proud of YoungK!!!
