I love your channel Jeroen. One thing I would have loved for you to have emphasised and shown here is the importance of correct ergonomics to avoid knee, hip and back injuries. Once again, I appreciate your videos.
Can you please make a beginners hockey video! Maybe the basics of trying to shoot goals in the air, or running with the ball, any tips etc. Probably watched all of these videos in the last few weeks 😂 🇦🇺
Anyone notice the weird editing at 2:25. The ball starts going towards the top right corner then the camera angle changes and suddenly it’s going in the top left.
Thanks H! Trying to improve little by little every day! Just received my rebounder beams that you had in the last video! Shame you didn't have an affiliate link otherwise you would have got a commission on my order!
Tips: keep the ball close to you when you flick it away ( you can put more power into it ) and don't try to do the drag part to fast. The drag should be controlled and smoothly transitioning into the flick
I don’t think it’s awkward at all 😂 but a shorter stick means there’s more skill available, that’s why the forwards always have short sticks but the backs tend go for longer flatter sticks
Phil Roper has 163 international caps, 39 goals and 4 medals, playing Dutch and English prem standard... Listen to the end of the video, everyone has their own style and Roper's is the modern quick release method. Don't be jealous because you can't do it 😂😂 Terrible opinion...
@@Singh19able you're disrespecting an international athlete? For no good reason? I highly doubt you can dragflick/play hockey at all if your attitude is to criticise other styles.

😇
Seems easy until you realise you have to do this within seconds because of defenders...
Thanks for making of dragflick tutorial and very helpful this video .

The point in a drag flick is to make it look like it’s going in one direction then switch.
Could you make a video on how to control the ball when running well?
Much more comprehensive than the last one. I can already dragflick but just thought I’d say this is a much better starting point
on the end of the drag flick dog you whip your wrist through or keep them stiff
thank you this would really help for the future time to help me! thanks this really good, also your really good for teaching
Will you play next Pro league matches ?

Do you have to have the grove in the stick to drag flick ?

But the more practice the better 🎉
No you don't you will never be on the level of Abbas, Cierello, S.Singh.
Can I have stick?
No
Yes a max elite
It's too useful
i need to make it powerfull
Make the drag bit longer and remember to rotate your hips at the end
Tips: keep the ball close to you when you flick it away ( you can put more power into it ) and don't try to do the drag part to fast. The drag should be controlled and smoothly transitioning into the flick
use a smaller stick it works better
I'm 5'7, is a 36'5 inch too much?

Tering, goed dat deze vent kan hockeyen, want hij heeft echt hst charisma van een komkommer
I cont its to hard
Of all the sports I’ve watched, this one has some of the most awkward body positions. I think it’s because the sticks are so short.

Could you please tell Phil Roper that what he is doing is not a dragflick. He needs to learn the basics otherwise the art of dragflicking will be lost
