I stopped wearing vans 15-20 years ago. In the 90s, only people wearing vans were skaters, surfers, snowboarders, rockers, punk rockers. They were a symbol of extreme sports and rock and roll. As soon as I started seeing gangsters, rappers, and the fast and furious crowd wearing vans, i stopped wearing them. They became to trendy with no symbolism anymore. Now look at Vans! What a joke completely destroying the superbowl of surfing the Pipeline Masters. So sad to see such a great brand back in the days to this. Sure miss the 90's.
