  • Gwendolyn and I visit the little town of Llandrindod Wells, frequented by the wealthy in Victorian times. Lots of great architecture and an interesting lake.

Another lovely video Michael. I've spent quite a bit of time over the years up in "Llandod" as we used to call it, especially at the Metropole hotel. Great to go back there again with you.. Cheers 🍷🍷

Hi Michael - another lovely video of a place that brings back memories. I worked in Llandrindod a few times and was there when they had a Victorian Festival. All the shops were decked up in Victorian style and people wearing Victorian costumes.

Hello Eric. I would like to have seen the festival. Maybe when all the Covid nonsense is over they will hold it again and I shall go. Thanks for watching. Regards Michael

I really like the look of that place Michael. I can see that our most traveled Canadians, the geese have already given their approval. As you say, the architecture is very interesting and there's a Greggs. Close to perfect.
    Regards, David.

LOL David. I did have a Greggs sausage roll but was so enjoying it I forgot to video the event. If you get the chance, trains do run there so on your TOURIST ONLY fantastic rail card deal maybe you could add it to your list of "Must Visit" places. Regards Michael

Thanks for watching Jeremy. It was quiet but then it was just after 0800 hrs. It livened up later in the day and The Lake got very busy. Regards Michael

Hope you enjoy it and thanks for your comments. Will you be staying in an hotel? Rent a boat on the little lake, it's fun and IF you dare, taste the waters at the Pump House. Enjoy and regards Michael

I am 80+ a few months. If I were but a few years (make the MANY years) younger, I would ask you where the Airbnb was and invite you for a drink in Gwendolyn. Regards Michael
