I love my 22 315RLTS. In regards to the carpet, it's only on 1 slide, the dinette, and the recliner slide out. The carpet covers the slide, keeping out any draft. I'm in UT. The wind right now is 25 mph, and I don't feel it. I used a foam pipe cover on the kitchen slide to block that draft. I'm thankful for that carpet.
You have one? Probably the best layout Ive seen since I started looking into all this. Looks like a lot of headroom which is my biggest fear being a really tall guy. Grats to you
Love this video but I have to tell you the biggest reason I love the entrance steps. When you arrive at a site and it’s black fly and mosquito season, a ton of those blood sucking bugs can get inside your rv before you get the solid steps out and levelled to close your screen door. Also, we take our shoes off in the rv so why would you want dirty steps inside.🤓🇨🇦✌🏼
I am one of the few that doesn't like the steps that fold up into the trailer, many times I have packed up and left in the mud or snow or rain and having to try and clean off the steps or to dry them off in a raging rain storm is not feasible. I love the pantry but wish they would make the lights on each shelf and I agree on the carpet. Hate it. I love the no vents in the floor, and the nautilus wet bay.
I have always loved the Grand Design units for the quality and service reputation. That said, they always seem to be behind a few years as far as features and finishes. Only recently have they started using 12v refrigerators and solid steps on the Imagines. Surprised to see the "crappy" steps on this one. Agree the interior looks dated compared to the euro look cabinetry in the Imagines as well. Great coach though and very livable. The bathroom was very nice and love the rain style shower head.

i love the interior. ill be so jappy when people go back to realizing that gray is ugly and sad. i love the queen bed and all the walkaround spave you get bt nit having an oversized bed i love the dining table and chairs. Bonus like I LOVE that the bedroom and outside dont have TVS dislikes I HATE CARPET why is there carpet and Carpet
I like this Grand Design! It looks like a fifth wheel. Matt and Wil my dislikes are the sane yours not liking the carpet in slide outs. The steps and the stabilizing jacks. My likes are the storage in the kitchen and the the coffee/taco bar. The bathroom and the bedroom. I love how you can get a combo washer/dryer in a travel trailer. Thank you Matt and Wil.

Dislikes: asymmetrical counter by stove. Lousy for us lefties. Dark cabinets/decor, carpeted slides, queen bed. I feel like this was built in 2012, not 2021. Likes: good storage, slam latches, Fiberglas front cap.
Looking at that lot; it appears the shortage is over. Soon there will be a serious glut. Only made worse by many people wishing to ditch their expensive depreciated obligations while trying to figure out why they bought them in the first place
Jeez, what is up with those dark color tones and carpet? Plus the step on the slide is bad & built in steps too. If they got rid of those outdated looks, it would be a lot better.

I installed solid steps, slide toppers, hard wired surge protector, vent covers, and TV in the bedroom.

You can run a split washer/dryer setup. We have the washer on the driver side and the dryer on the passenger side. Love our 315RLTS.
