Of the many times I have been fortunate to hear Eliza Carthy in concert over the years this was one of the most memorable, in a freezing church on a wet old night.

watch out nigel kennedy and co - eliza has moved up another notch and she was fantasmagorical in the first place [eliza and nancy 1990's]. might seem strange but i liken her to jacqueline du pre - each generation we deserve a musical wonder in UK. adrian boult / jacqueline / eliza [adele next?]
