In a recent interview with us, Ahmedu Augustine aka Blackface Naija explained that he felt it necessary to do a remake of 2baba’s 20-year old monster hit-song, African Queen, in order to show his original intention for the song which he claims was written by him. He further explained that he has a new strategy for the Plantashun Boiz band. WATCH

I wonder when Nigeria journalist will start finding facts before presenting to the public..... PLANTASHUN BOIz was a very strong and talented team and they were still friends even after the split... on 2faces first album in 2004 #FACE2FACE blacky was featured in a song called #Odi_ya and even in blacky's first album 2baba was present in his hit song #HARDLIFE official video.... 2baba has never made full claim to that song from day 1 he has always said it was co-written with blacky.......these guys were living together even after releasing their solo albums. blackface also released his own version of #AFRICANQUEEN then based on the agreement they had so this is not the first time of him recording the song (I will drop the link below dont worry).2baba shouldn't be blamed for carrying a higher grace though we all know he is a better singer.
Blacky went ahead and formed a group called the #TRIBUNALS where he had mallam spicey, rock steady and others..... why isn't he talking about bringing back the TRIBUNALS? Guys it's obvious this guy is just using plantashun boiz n 2baba as a medium to seek for attention (the negro is just jealous of 2babas SUCCESS ITS MY OPINION).....

Guy u don tok my mind so, I reserve my comments on this. But wether Black likes it or not, 2baba sings better than him. I have all their songs in p.boiz, Tuface was the best in terms of vocal. Now apart from African qeen, Tubaba has got other sweeter songs than d African queen. So where did tuface steal or copied those ones from? Tubaba has more lyrics than Black and more inspirational than him too, so he should just accept that fact n hv peace. Simple! Las Las, who God has blessed, no man can cause.
