I dig this pair and while I know this song is used a lot, it was the first one I could think of that fit this pairing the best. Please feel free to recommend other songs that you think could fit them. Understand I will probably shorten the song to fit into video as there isn't loads of footage with this pairing. My first finished video in forever! I'm excited even if parts of it are awful.

I saw you mention this at the end of one of the chapters in your fic Mesmerize (which I totally love) and I couldnt resist watching it.

Unfortunately, they never pick the fun routes, always the boring routes. This means they always pick the dutiful, severe, typical boring Japanese guy, like it is some propaganda campaign to get young Japanese maidens to marry the older guy, over the fun loving younger guys. Chikage is the hottest and sexiest guy on the show, and yet boring guys always win!!! Never the fun choices, who are just amazing and hot as all hell.... Even the younger guys like Heisuke and Harada never have a chance, and poor Okita is doomed from the start.... *sniffle*
Tragedy anyway, I wonder were they trying to show that Hijikata became a true Oni, so that he could live eternally with Chizuru? Or, is this meant to end in disaster with him dying as a Fury? I'm truly hoping that the yellow eyes meant he became a full Oni, but the entire Demon of the Fleeting Blossoms implies that he died eventually a bit later. So, we Chizuru's fate really to only have 2-5 years of happiness? Is she going to be some bitter and jaded Oni Lady who has no one but Senhime and the ninja girl for her eternity?
How could they have killed Chikage Kazama, when he was the only equal to Chizuru? *shrugs* The movie gives more hope though apparently, because as long as he lives, Chikage can just come back for her 6 or 10 years in the future after Hijikata dies of being a Fury.... Of course, it is fantasy, maybe he truly does become a full Oni ,and can be Eternal? *shrug*.
No idea on whether Hijikata lives or dies now.... Hilarious part would be Chikage raising Hijikata's children with Chizuru after he dies of being a Fury... *giggles*. After all, Chizuru is so
very meek most of the time, what else would she do really? As a single mother and a widow.... Great fate for her right?
Just play the game and you can end up whomever you want to. Even Kazama have his happy ending with Chizuru in the game.
