Having the bed bugs bite me kinda freaked me out, but I’m glad I did it! Even after a couple of days they didn’t leave any red spots or bumps on my skin. However, Harry had red spots for a couple days after he got bit
Harry might be allergic! I have the same after they've fed on me!! They're at my place of employment in a sofa!! Actually all over....Do you have any recommendations on what I can do to have a peaceful night's work?

I have stayed in allot of hotels in my life for business and pleasure and thank God I only encountered bed bugs once and I knew it instantly!!! I felt the bites within a couple of minutes and I had just laid on the bed!!! When I smacked it they were full of my blood so the process was fast and I was out of the room within 5 minutes 😢 and I did strip before getting into my car, threw everything in a trash bag and ran all of my clothes through a hot dryer except for the clothes I was wearing they got tossed as did All of my luggage for fear that I bring them into my house....it was like being bitten by fleas, or ghats or green heads all at once and they did leave red bloody dots 😢
Man... Don't do that experiment inside of your house lmfao.... You lose one bed bug and you have to put your whole house on fire. You DONT want these inside of your home or else you are screwed.
Idk if I have fleas or bed bugs. I've tossed my bed room and can't find evidence of bed bugs. But I sleep mostly reclined on my couch. I can't find any evidence in living room either. I went 3 nights sleeping with mosquito repellent on and didn't get bit. They say repellent works against fleas but not bed bugs which gives me hopes it's fleas. I've treated all animals even though I can't see any evidence of fleas either. Idk what to do. They say bed bugs bite in a row, yet pictures of flea bites online are also sometimes in rows. So idk
Itchiest bite I've ever received from an insect. Nothing bothers me anymore. They feast in three's (commonly called "breakfast, lunch, and dinner bites") and i had these all over my body. Found their nest and only one of them so no idea how i got so many for weeks. Threw out the wood frame with the nest; wiped down everything with alcohol and wipes (not a single mm was left unwiped); steam cleaned the carpet about 10 times. We got lucky by finding the nest; not feasible to get rid of them otherwise.
This is really fascinating, they remind me of ticks but they don't burrow into the skin. If I ever find any I will probably feed them to my ant colonies. How do you think you will destroy them?
I bet ants would feast on those bed bugs haha. Yeah ticks actually stick their whole head into the skin almost! Im going to test bleach, vinegar, and pesticides to see which one kills the bed bugs faster
@@DanTheBugMan yeah I don’t know if bleach would kill bed bugs faster than pesticide. It would be good to know if vinegar and bleach are effective ways of dealing with them considering how common those products are used. Stepping on them probably wouldn’t be the most effective way of killing them unless you use flat shoes or do it barefoot. That could be a funny challenge, stepping on bed bugs with barefeet XD. Although I would personally stick with the poison.
I have to cover my entire body including covering my hands with mittens or socks and that helps but it's still horrible. It's been a year of dealing with them even after numerous sprays. Idk what to do.
You need a new mattress you can’t use the old one again. You also have to clean clean clean and get rid of everything you don’t need. The less clutter the better. After you got rid of the mattress and box spring and bed depending on if it’s fabric coated then get the exterminator to spray. You gotta wash all your clothes even ones you don’t wear and use a laundry sanitizer as well. Basically sterilize the room and your stuff get a new bed and spray before moving it in. And don’t stay at cheaper hotels where cleaning isn’t done as well and don’t stay at peoples houses who you think may have them. It’s possible to get rid of them but usually you have to get rid of a lot of your own stuff.
Thank you for your information. Watching this really did make my skin crawl. I felt itches everywhere. If you show this type of imagery again please warn us first, and then stomp them. Only joking. Love the channel and advice. Kind regards.
i started losing all of the hair on the back of my calves but not on my shins. didnt have any clue as to why but, one night i stayed up real late deep in thought writing music lyrics and i just so happened to turn my desk around facing the sofa i would sleep on. i noticed something moving on it from the corner of my eye and this was around the time id normally be asleep. still didnt know what it was but i trapped it in a jar and looked up what it might be on google. bed bugs photo pops up and im like damn. lifted up the cushions and there were about 40 of them all bunched up in the corner. i went back to writing and 4 hours later after my bro woke up i says. grab this end of the couch (sheets and blankets included) and ill grab the other we have bedbugs. then we threw it off the 3rd story balcony. afterwhich i slept on the desk i was using to write on for 2 weeks with a space blanket during winter. those fucking bed bugs man
@@XtudorY the bed bugs were living in the soil of my bros pot plants along with some mice that ate the plants and when we threw the couch out we found a bag of ripped soil underneath the couch we forgot about that the bedbugs were also in. the cops raided his house and took all his plants even though he had a liscence to grow and i got a leather futon 2 weeks later and for the next month or so i havnt seen any. ended up moving to live at a trade school shortly after. when i was out of trade school 2 years later i still didnt see any when i moved back in with him.
You're a tease! You said they would be destroyed upon completion of the experiment. Certainly, you didn't keep them as pets, so what became of them, and why didn't you film it?
@@DanTheBugMan Okay. . .but be sure to record their eventual destruction! The ones that just fed make a nice 'pop'! And you did say as the first little one was feeding on your arm that you wanted to kill it as soon as it was done.

NOT THE RANDOM BUGS MATING AT 15:32 🤣
This is like the best video I've seen on how to identify I never knew we could see them but thank God we can lol
Glad it helped! Yes bed bugs are so rare its no wonder no one knows what they look like

did you try cimexa? it can be one of the best options besides the exterminator.
Crossfire, vacuum, mattress encasement, dryer, cimexa and no clutter

Haha it made my skin crawl too, literally!! Yes thanks for watching. I’ll add stomping in when I can
That is some well fed bedbugs
"That's how you know you've been eating good."
Paralysis from stuffing yourself with food… kinda jealous
highly recommend putting the time lapse in 2x speed lol
the question is, why would you subject yourself to this lol
Hahaha it did suck! But honestly I wanted to do it. Helps be better understanding how they behave and what their bites are like
Outta all bug's thats outdoor bug's and indoor bug's i rather have them all combined then to have bed bugs
Does anybody know how long bed bugs live without human blood
A year
Or two...
A lighter is a VERY Good way to kill bed bugs. They die at 113 degrees Fahrenheit Wich is almost instantly the flame touches them

Where could the average guy get some bed bugs??
I think they sell them at Walmart now
Can Bed-bug survive cold temperatures?........Like 14 F ?
They can survive pretty cold temperatures. If it’s under freezing probably not but a couple days if I had to guess
Good to know @@DanTheBugMan,at least I won't come across them around here.😁😉
Ive tried getting rid of bedbugs on my bed so many times.. now I just accepted the fact and Just made friends with them.
I have them in my apartment

I don’t have any bugs in my house I just have spider friends. They don’t bother me I let them be
