Quickly becoming one of our favorite channels. Love the weird, campy, super sexualized, or forgotten horror or science fiction gems. We are happy we found this channel a few months ago and love the unique niche you all have now as we are unaware of any channel who covers and loves the genre's you all cover.

My favorite vampire movie of all. It starred three "graduates" of Aliens. (Yes, that is Vasquez.) It wasn't too well known when first released because it didn't have the ad money behind it like its year mate The Lost Boys. Interesting trivia: One of the vampires in this movie is played by the half-brother of the newbie in Near Dark.

I wrote a story in middle school where the vampires were possessed by their fangs. Outside of the body, they become child's costume fangs. When someone puts them in, they pretend to be a vampire for a while but then transform into one until someone kills them and the costume fangs fall out... all blood on or inside the vampire, other than its own, phase-shift to where the vampire's teeth consume it. So, the heroes are tried and convicted of killing innocent kids pretending to be vampires and ended up having the vampire-inspired murders pinned on them. I ended up being grounded off watching horror movies for a couple months (didn't stop me but the school morons liked that they were told that).

"Only Lovers Left Alive" is my favorite vampire movie. Christopher "Kit" Marlowe (played by John Hurt) makes an appearance as a 400+ year old vampire and it's truly delightful as we find out there was something of a conspiracy relating to Kit and his contemporary, Billy Shakespeare, who interestingly, was born the same year as Kit, 1564.

It's about magical world and not solely about vampires (the vampires only seen for a couple of minutes early on the movie). If anyone is genuinely looking for a great vampire film to watch, go no further than to pick a vampire film that was made/produced by Hammer studios! They made the absolute most atmospheric, intelligent and well-acted vampire films ever! 90% of Hammer Horror movies are well-written, have captivating plots, incredibly beautiful cinematography, gorgeous, voluptuous women and most importantly, a good portion of Hammer films include the combined talents of Peter Cushing (as Dr. Van Helsing) and Christopher Lee (as Dracula). I think there are either 5 or 6 Dracula pictures with the two of them together. THOSE vampire films are heads and shoulders above the quality of vampire films that are being produced these days.
