  • Hey guys, another Trivium cover here! Hope you guys enjoyed this one from Shogun. Personally for me, this is the easiest and least song to play from Shogun as this album is arguably the most technical Trivium album. Thanks for watching and please do subscribe!

Great cover, Dhanesh! Sounds like The Sin and the Sentence (ALBUM, not the song), but the melodeath version. When you do another Trivium cover later, please cover Like Light to the Flies!

Thank you very much Andi, and as for your request for Like light to the flies cover, I will do that on a later date as I want to take a break from screaming and do some other covers for the time being. For me, I was trying to make this cover sound like the Chapman Studios version, which sounds almost exactly like this.

Honestly, I was a but skeptical about your cleans, in some parts they were good, in some parts they weren't but what really surprised me was your screams and growls, those were fucking awesome. maybe we can do a duel vocal/guitar for Pull Harder On the Strings of Your Martyr where I'm on cleans and on Matt's guitar section and you do the gutterals and lead guitar parts if I'm able to get my hands on some recording software for Christmas because I'm trying to see about getting a beginner home studio for under $200 and I found some really good bang for the buck equipment like the Behringer UMC2 and a Neewer condenser mic, I might record my guitar parts using a free guitar sound sim software if I am lucky but I'll comment on a video letting you know when I'm all ready. Also a little side tip, your tone was a littlebit lacking, it wasn't lacking enough to the point where it compromised your guitar playing but I would reccomend swapping out the bridge pickup for a Dimarzio or a Seymour Duncan, something with a bit more low end and bite to it.
