A real life tip. In a cave, you make sure you know which way the water is flowing, and you need to find where the bats roost during the day. If the bats hang out up stream, you DO NOT drink the water. The bacteria in bat guano is deadly to humans.

Scuba gear you exhale your air into the water. Rebreathers recycle the air, scrub out the CO2 and add Oxygen as needed, making it possible for longer dives.
And to be less of a disturbance under water. But the main purpose is certainly reusing exhaled oxygen.

Me personally, if I ever find myself frustrated with building, or just being at base too much, I take a trip to a new cave or bunker, just to get away for a bit. Clears my mind, it's refreshing. Makes the game much more enjoyable.

The counter block thing you did by accident is the way you stun the armored guys btw. If they melee and you parry the attack at the right moment they get stunned for the duration of a power attack stun. Super strong
they should change warm suit to be craftible and add wolfs bears crockidiles and other animals that can fight both the players and the cannibles
also with the shovel you should be able to make trenches and pitfall traps since that would be unique and usefull

I didn't know we could do a counter attack after blocking! And we should definitely have more 3D printer recipes because they were likely used to build and maintain bunkers so they should be able to print things we can maintain our bases with like a lockable door that's stronger than cardboard.
I love the building videos, even thought there is a lot of complaining, i still enjoy it!
HI! Love your content. For the fish traps, I believe, from my experience, that you need to rotate the one in your well so it has the open side facing the incoming stream, as a real fish trap would!
That's a good feature to implement, Farket; if you max out on a supply like rocks or whatever, just make them disappear so we don't keep picking them up.

I believe it was you that mention 3D printing water pipes for bring water to your base and i think thats a great idea! I wish they'd do something with the water in the game.. especially seeing that your on an island that already has buildings and human technology/infrastructure, plus the 3D printers are basically useless after you get the flask and maybe the sled other then coming back for arrows they dont serve any purpose.. you could honestly play the entire game without using a single one...... and that is just a bad game play mechanic!

I'm not sure if you are pressing SHIFT while driving the golf cart, I'm pretty sure the cart goes faster when you are doing it and every time you hit enemies while pressing SHIFT, they just explode
They still need to add flipping off the cannys as you drive by
Remember, the more caves you open, the more enemies will attack you and more frequently, its connected.
I wish this game would have more NPC's in the game that you can be friend them and they can help you in your base slowly build like a mini town of maybe even neutral cannibals who will help you fight off the other cannibals.
I really like that idea. Even The Forest would benefit from this, so imagine this game
@sfxdlwsrs dude it would be crazy like there's 2 different cannibal clans at war with eachother and you choose a side and maybe there's benefits for each side that would be sick
Golf cart is a fine weapon of cannibal's leg destruction. They should know their place.
I have given up on golf carts and the knight v. Honestly you just need a foldable glider and a cliff. With that you can get anywhere in this game. I've built the glider jumper thing in 3 key places on the map, one on my base, one on the beach near turtles and one near a bunker. I have just one line of Zipline for places near me where taking the glider is too much effort or a bad place to lose the glider once you land. Try that, you'll see what I mean

7:48 using this counter block is only good on cannibals. do it right before their attack lands on you and they will be staggered.
Your point about being full inventory of small rocks request to make the small rocks invisible. I think a fairly simple solution that could translate to all items is instead of making the items invisible, just turn off the action button visual and trigger. disappearing items would look a little jarring

id actually really like to see more electricity/ qol building stuff. i think devs are sometimes too scared to be compared to other games if they get too close, in this case i think the first thing people would say about piping is "oh its cannibal ARK", but imo thats a dumb way to think about your own game. SOTF would be dope af with generators, battery systems, piping, pumps, and proper electrical traps not this weird fencing stuff. then theres the thing ive always thought they would do but it seems they dont have plans for it, make things in the world repurposable. theres models and spawns for things like weapons racks, internal internet systems, security systems, maglock doors, powerful excavators and cars, lighting and alarms. i assume the devs dont see SOTF as a long term game but having the option to stay "alone" on the island and continue the fight makes the game start to have that expectation or LONG TERM SURIVIVAL. a great example of how to use the things in the world and repurpose them is the excavators, theres a couple little mines on the map with excavators outside them and the saves themselves only have a little solaphite. so what they can do is cover those areas but have the scouting stuff like the camera and other equipment there like we see all over the map and that will be the markings telling us to dig. solaphite is actually really good for endgame survival because of the bone armor stuff but ALSO upgrading the structures. maybe they could have some layered protection to allow for more uses of the solaphite too but i think ive already ranted for too long lol. i hope if you read this you can see where i was going with all this.
i mean, I always wanted an electrical switch to be added, I like to wire several light bulbs in my house, but switching them on/off one by one is kinda annoying, also, you could turn off electric fences, but they surely won't add this to the game:/

You dont need a stream to catch fish. Put a trap in a tiny pond, like the one by the modern axe, and you will get tons of fish.

What day to mutants spawn? My newest world is on day 41+ and not a single mutant has spawned., I got the game the day of release 23rd feb and in all of my worlds not a single one had a mutant spawn, so what day do mutants spawn! In the forest it used to be 7
i think it’s based on how many caves you’ve been through and how many camps you’ve raided
