Sephiroth appearance. i like the way Sephy is introduced in game, like Vodemort just like you mentioned. we only heard about him, saw his sword on the president's back, he's like an omnious evil being, but when we finally first met him in Cloud's memory, he just seemed to be a nice senpai ! I find this intriguing~ 4. age target in marketing I wonder that too. (I only played 7&8, don't know how they compare to the others) In Japan, there was a TV commercial for FF7 Remake, and I remember the narrators commented about when they were kids playing the FF7 original game, they were thrilled by the "mature story plot". so maybe that is actually a thing, that 7 is more mature. And like your ideas of : Cloud Potter / Sehpimort, Frankenstein, super race, German ... etc they are quite interesting ! now I guess I'll have to play ff10 as well lol (heard a lot of praises for it), to better get your idea haha

That flew over 10 year old me’s head so I just laughed every time I played. 😂
So you've noticed Cloud has a hard time remembering a few things. Good. Keep tabs on that. Cloud's "memories" are suspiciously vague at times, to say the least. Could it be that he's secretly Sephiroth's long lost brother? 😂
Regarding the orthopedic underwear: it turns out this was something that was corrupted in translation and was never the intention in Japanese. The original intent was, in fact, that Tifa wore underwear of a more mature nature than was typical for someone of her age in the flashback. Tifa has no deformity.
